Tarre might have been a Jedi for most of his life, but he has not only returned to his roots, but he never really set aside some of them. And among those there is the fact that showing weakness is, simply and cleanly, something he will not do. So the warning is received, after a moment, with a nod, easy and steady, and a smile that promises certainty.

"We shall see." Is all he says, diplomacy incarnate under the skin of a Mandalorian, and then lets nevertheless his attention to drift a shade more into the Force, just in case. He will not show weakness, but he will not be reckless about it either.

And then Kelilah is there, and Tarre nods at her, a mere recognition he hopes does not cause tension.

"I am aware of the challenges of infrastructure." He replies, simply. "I trust your trust in this ship, and that is enough for now."

Even if he's not entirely too pleased about it.

⸻ ⛧ 𝘐𝘛 𝘐𝘚 𝘔𝘖𝘙𝘌 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘕 𝘑𝘜𝘚𝘛 infrastructure but he does not correct Tarre. Instead, he focuses on reaching the jump point. When the ship does transfer into hyperspace, the effect would feel different than others. A genuine drop of the stomach, a brief rush of disorientation paired with a dizzying change of inertia. Someone with a weak stomach might lose it, but neither Casimir doesn't flinch. Though he was use to it, his sister does make a brief face even as she, too, was becoming more familiar with the sensation. Once the ship was settled in the hyperlane, Casimir looks to Kelilah & then to Tarre to check on them. ❝ How was it? ❞

Moving from his seat to stand once again, he leans his arm along the top of the pilot's chair as he looks to them. ❝ It will be about a few hours. We can get a little acquainted then. Perhaps over some tea, I can go over my usual practice and you can tell me what you think. ❞ They could settle in for a ride & hope that this endeavor would pay off for all of them.

The Crystal Priest psychic booth occupies a converted garage-style space that is tucked within the markets of Ord Mantell City. Despite its mysticism, the shop is designed to be inviting and relatively cozy. Heavy drapes cover the inner walls and divide the interior into distinct sections: a front counter lined with shelves of candles, teas, jars of henna paint made in small batches, talismans and hand-crafted jewelry; beside that is a welcoming seating area filled with cushions surrounding a low table, an ornate tea set and service for private consultations or small groups; and in the back a small section reserved for storage. Crystal-like lanterns and stringed lights bathe the booth in a warm glow that pairs with the scent of incense, tea, and candle wax. The décor is dominated with rich reds, oranges and golds which makes the atmosphere feel like it is a hidden sanctuary well tucked away.

Casimir is locally known as a quiet artisan and psychic reader, he offers consultations under the guise of being a psychic while primarily using his psychometry Force ability to perform through his specialty metal and kyber made tarot card deck, tea leaf readings, and other forms of divination depending on the client’s needs and how Casimir feels directed by the Force / Inheritance. He creates prophetic and protective henna designs on clients, sells hand-crafted talisman jewelry, candles and incense, as well as some loose-leaf teas from his travels, and jars of henna for personal use. Some of his jewelry is created with kyber, but is reserved for trusted clients with deep pockets. Though he may broker kyber more specifically during private sessions or after-hours, using the booth as a front to protect where his majority income is received.

Though he rents the space semi-permanently in Ord Mantell City, Casimir does travel for kyber clients or resource gathering and may be absent from his booth for weeks at a time. Sometimes during these journeys, he may rent a small and portable market cart within the city he is visiting to offer the same services in local markets and spaceports to build a reputation that extends beyond Ord Mantell itself.

Well, you know this Sparrow... BUT Casimir is pretty vain. He might not acknowledge or admit it, but he is very particular about his appearance. Though he might not hoard clothing, he chooses specific items that express him the most and are often quite embellished. Casimir enjoys self-expression as he has come to embrace individualism since adapting to the greater galaxy. He is also finnicky about self-care. His hair is always done, beard trimmed nicely, even his nails are well tended to. Though he already smells of herbs and incense as it wafts off his altars from his shop and ship, he wears a clean but musky cologne. If Casimir is not well put-together, then something is very much wrong as he would not dare to be in public or seen without being fully ReadyTM.

⛧ Casimir loves chocolate. In his shop he keeps a bowl of little wrapped chocolates and in one of the kitchenette cupboards on his ship is a another bag of them. He will buy a large bag in bulk and split it between the two locations. He would keep pieces on his person if they wouldn't melt, however he refuses to let his clothes be stained and to also waste any of it to being stuck to the packaging.

⛧ He is also quite good at signing and is not afraid to sing. Though if he is alone (or thinks he is) he will hum or sing to himself old liturgies from Nythra. But he has slowly become more accustomed to songs in Basic and will absolutely smoke the floor if its karaoke night in the cantina.

different queen, same bantha fodder. it seemed that even having one of their own on the seat of the chancellor, their queen still had to come grovel at the feet of the other senators for aid and resources. mon cala deemed their request for increased clone presence on naboo OUTRAGEOUS, even when a second assassination attempt on her life was infiltrated by the coruscant guard at their approach alone.

kaisa insisted that she don the scar of remembrance at least for the duration of this visit, just in case their enemies dared a third attempt. and with padmé's insistence as well, symphony had no choice but to agree.

she hung back dejectedly that day, following her shadow in her own robes they had traded earlier that morning, as well as her senator. they gathered in an overflow room along with other senators and world leaders as they awaited a scheduled hearing within the next hour.

symphony's world was a quiet one, especially now as she elected not to bother with a hearing aid to hear the mindless chatter around her. however it seemed that she didn't have a say on the matter when she begins to hear droning in her head, words that sounded like basic but words she couldn't make out the details of.

her eyes snap to what she felt was the source, a human male wearing foreign garbs——and what she at first assumed to be JEWELS. an almost offensive display of wealth, she tells herself. however she couldn't hide her STARING as the humming seemed to come from him, then a faint LAUGHTER from a woman across the room, but whom she could only hear through... him.

she couldn't stop herself from confronting the man. ❝ excuse me, ❞ symphony approaches him as politely as she could muster. there was no flattering way of asking this question, so she decided to just outright say it. ❝ what are you wearing? ❞

⸻ ⛧ 𝘏𝘌 𝘏𝘈𝘋 𝘈𝘚𝘒𝘌𝘋 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘈𝘛𝘛𝘌𝘕𝘋𝘈𝘕𝘛 for something stronger than champagne or wine because he did not think he was going to get through the day without a little inebriation. Not that he would drink enough for anyone to actually tell, but most politicians were insufferable. Even these announcements, he has come to know, mostly went over his head. Yet the droid gave him a look ( if a droid could give looks on their unmoving faces ) that suggested the request was ridiculous. But Senator Casimir Ashirae would stay put, just in case his wish might be granted leaning against the circular standing table made for putting the drinks on.

A woman turns to him just then, only interrupting the adjustment he made with the circlet on his temple. Eyes briefly narrow at her for her question, as no one seemed to poke much on his clothing. There were fanciful designers... of which, he did not remember the name of the one he had used to fashion the design only to include Nythran embroidery afterward. Casimir's mouth opens to answer but he notices where her eyes were lingering. Ah, well that makes more sense. ❝ You mean the kyber? ❞

Of course, he wore several necklaces though not all were donned with kyber, there was one more significant than the rest. Reaching to grab the translucent & orange-tinted crystal, he holds it out for her to receive a closer look. At least this seemed like a conversation he could handle, ❝ This one is an heirloom of my lineage. It's larger than most, brings protection and strength. ❞

Offering her a grin, he opens his hand slightly more so that ( if she felt inclined ) she could touch it. Many were, after all, easily fascinated by them. ❝ Are you familiar? ❞

There is a chance, and the chance is not null, that the Sith have some kind of trap on the holocron beyond the Sith spectre. Of course, it might simply be a case of the creature believing themself enough to guard this, but one fake holocron, and one trap... it smells like plundered treasure, in a way. He's still not entirely willing to trust it, when Sith are duplicitious as very few other beings.

But the Force is somewhat calm, despite the place. It doesn't make him any more pleased by the idea of Casimir touching the item. Even if it's the practical choice.

"There has already been one instance of a being attempting to possess you." Tarre considers, as he walks too towards the holocron. "Can you encase it in earth?" He settles for. "We can identify it outside, where the energies of this place will not strengthen it."

The armor, the temple, the not-holocron, the ghost? If he was to encase it in earth, then its more likely that Tarre would have to carry it just to be sure.

❝ I'll encase it, ❞ he says with confidence as he enters the disheveled room. Whatever Sith had been here, or otherwise, had left the room a mess. Most of the important pieces had been taken or destroyed. Except, of course, the one glowing object left on one of the shelves. It couldn't be more obvious. If it wasn't for the possessed armor, Casimir would consider it an obnoxiously evident trap. Maybe they had set it off too early.

There is one thing can truly tell now that they were closer. Clicking his tongue, he shakes his head, ❝ Hell no, I am not touching that thing. ❞ In his case, he wasn't going to risk his telekinesis or psychometry on it. ❝ I don't trust it. You'll have to move it for me. There is something very wrong with it now that I'm in the room. Do you sense it too? ❞

Luckily for Casimir, Jacky was aware of the Force and what it was. Though he'd not met many people in his life that were capable of using it - it was not common at all in his pack back at home - he was aware of it at least. Still, the question of how this worked, this he assumed was his voice and his fur, made his head tilt ever so slightly.

"I don't think I have an answer to that..." he admitted with a small flick of his ear, "I've not ever really thought about it. This is just normal to me."

How could he explain what he could do with metal and earth? Even someone familiar enough the those Jedi would not understand. Casimir has not found anything outside of his homeworld with something familiar.

Lifting his head once again, he buries his fingers into the fur on Jacky's head & traces his ears with his finger. Truly, it was quite curious. ❝ Do you shed? Like is your fur going to be all over my things? ❞ he asks, half jesting & somewhat concerned. Casimir liked things a particular way, as Jacky likely knew by now. Everything ought to go into their right places & so forth. Even hair needed to be stay in place, his own time in front of the mirror would attest to it.
