Vampire AU, Lance is a vampire, Keith is a clueless human. They meet at the bookstore when Keith is looking into cryptids and Lance wants to buy (also a vampire) Hunk a book about vampires so they can laugh at all the humans’ misconceptions about vampires.

They chat about Mothman (Keith: “definitely real!”) and vampires, which Keith seems  to have a low opinion of, which of course Lance takes Very Personally.

Tl;Dr they become friends, they fall in love etc. Keith is super clueless about Lance & Hunk being vampires for forever because as our boy showed last season w/ his mom he is Oblivious AF. (Lance finds this hilarious and increasingly obvious puns which Keith doesn’t get until Hunk finally cracks and tells him)

BUT Keith is sick. So the question of turning him comes up. Lance tells him that turning someone is extremely taboo but won’t explain exactly why or what it entails; Keith quickly abandons the notion.

But then he’s dying. Lance decides to turn him and asks Keith if he still wants it. He does. So Lance bites himself in the arm and tells Keith to drink his blood, drink and drink until he feels satisfied, “and keep your eyes shut the entire time”.

What Lance didn’t tell Keith is that a long time ago, an old mage put a curse on all vampire kind in order to stop vampirism from spreading; to turn another, you had to give them all of your life force.

So Keith drinks and drinks, and Lance’s body dries up more and more, and because right now there is only the strange taste of vampire blood, when Keith opens his eyes there is nothing left of Lance but a pile of ashes.

A little more vampire!AU; Hunk upon finding out Lance is in love with Keith: “Lance no one of you is gonna die and the other one is gonna live forever there is literally no way this ends well”

Hunk several months later to Lance’s ashes: “I.... *sniffles* I told you..... this wouldn’t end well......”

@thatgirlonstage Continuing this here because I have Thoughts and this should get its own post tbh.

I am grabbing that artist/model AU with both hands because YES LISTEN so when they first meet at the bookstore they get into a discussion about how cool / lame vampires are but then Keith is like “crap the art supplies store next door is about to close” and Lance’s face snaps up and his eyes are glinting with the excitement of a puppy who has just spotted his favourite toy. “YOU PAINT?” he tries not to yell. Keith’s like, “uhh yea?” and Lance drags him to the art store all “listen your opinions on vampires are Deplorable but I will FORGIVE YOU if you show me some of your stuff”. Keith can’t believe what this random stranger is saying but he gets totally swept up in Lance’s pace and Lance has already paid for all his art supplies before he even realizes what’s happening. Keith is Awkward and Anxious so it takes some convincing before he agrees to have Lance model for him, but after that it’s a regular occurence. There’s a lot of flirting - especially during the nude posing....
