Oops Tumblr crashed and I lost my post. Thankfully I hadn’t written a whole lot.
I look a bit like a gremlin in my ootd photo but I was a gremlin today so it’s accurate at least.
I’m on my greyhound home. I’m looking forward to my own bed and the rest. And I’m looking forward to work tomorrow. But this weekend went to fast and that makes me sad.
I was up to late last night. Esspecially since I had such a long day yesterday. But I slept well. Dad texted me back that he did went to get together for breakfast so I pulled myself together and was ready to go at 9. Mostly. I was still laying on my bed but I was dressed, so, ready to go enough.
We went into Yardley I think. Went to a very cute little diner and had omelets. We had a very interesting talk about gender, sexuality, and trans issues. It was nice that he was open to understanding and had questions and I enjoyed the conversation.
We headed out of there and went home. And not long after that Matt was here!
We spent over 3 hours making his Halloween costume. He is being Walter from the Muppets dressed a Kermit the frog. And it’s pretty hard to make a convincing homemade costume but we did it I think!
I taught Matt how to hand sew. We laid out our sample vest and I pinned everything and cut it out. We worked together for fitting. Then I showed him a straight stitch and a whip stitch and how to lock a stitch. I would do one whole side and he did the other. Then I made the hood which took a lot of brain work as we didn’t have a pattern. But after some clever hemming I had made something passable and had him sew the backing. He was cute trying to tie knots and messing up but I used my best teacher tips and helped him fix stuff. Mom kept trying to do it for him but I yelled at her that she needs to let him fail to learn! It was a lot of fun teaching him and working together.
We had some glue drying so while we waited as went to my room so I could pack my bags. My parents left to go see a play and not long after that me and Matt went to chipolte to get a late lunch.
We headed back to the house and watched The Final Pam arc of monster facrotry and just had a good roll on the floor laughing. It was great.
He left around 5. And mom and dad came home around 530.
We sat in my room and talked and soon enough It was time to go.
Me and dad sat at the train station and talked. It was really nice spending time with him. We don’t always get to like me and mom do and it was just really nice.
I got downtown. And to the station. I was nervous I was going to miss it because I couldn’t understand the loud speaker but I was the 4th one on the bus and it was all good. I am charging my phone and should hopefully be home and in bed in less then 2 hours.
I did get a little distressing news that Chris was in a motorcycle accident today and had a bit of road rash even if he’s not calling it that. He crashed into a wall. But he is texting me and isn’t to badly injured but it still upset me esspcially since I’m catching feelings over him. I’ll keep you all updated. He’s still coming the weekend after next though so hopefully he’s okay by then.
