two country bumpkins encounter escalator, feel confusion and violence
I didn't like Trails in the Sky FC (the original, not the ugly remake lol), but I REALLY want to get into this series because it is up there with Monster Hunter and Etrian Odyssey for perfect series in my opinion, ones that just perfectly appeal to me. My question is, does the progression get better? I don't mind the combat system, I think it is serviceable. However, the progression through the orbment system makes every character feel samey by the end and it just wasn't very intuitive or strategic at all. Does this improve? Where does it make a jump into having more strategy and satisfying progression? I get that these are opinions, but I'd like to know where I should expect it to improve on that aspect by
