Little Mason's First Birthday! <3

Rebekah threw little Mason a train themed birthday party to celebrate his 1st year!

She sent over a bunch of pictures of what the decorations would be like at the party and just asked me to match it with a cake, cupcakes and some cookies. She needed a cake big enough to feed 60 people... I think I over estimated on sizing... oops!!

We also made a cake for Mason's older sister, Leah... just so she wouldn't feel left out =P

And of course, my auntie got a cake too since it was also her birthday! =) She loves chickens!! like every other adult in my family -____-

The set up looked SUPPPPPPER cute at the party!

Unfortunately, the party just so happened to land on the 1st and hottest day of summer... =( There wasn't enough shade to protect the desserts... so any part that was hit by sunlight (which as you can see is a majority of it) began to melt an hour after I left the party!! =*****(

Protect your desserts everyone! Shade is crucial!! =( I don't mind seeing cakes cut up to be eaten, but having it melt away breaks my heart!! </3
