Orange is the New Black. Get cracking.
Viewing had to be suspended for a moment or two when father walked in just as there was naked woman kissing in the shower. That was a comfortable conversation. But now, viewing has been recommenced

Jesus Christ what happened? Are you ok?
I started a new diuretic on wednesday to treat the oedema as it's gotten really severe and wednesday I started to get this horrific stomach pain, literally drove me to my knees and i couldn't breathe. I thought it'd get better overnight but it's persisted and gotten much much worse, the attaacks getting closer and closer together, like someone is ripping my insides apart.Â
Called doctor and spoke to her, she said to try taking the water tablet every other day, so havent had one today but it just got worse and worse until it was almost constant.
Finally cracked after going to see dad tonight in hospital and called my doctors for out of hours number. Which is now 111. First guy freaked out, was really upset so I asked to speak to a nurse given weas in car so not realy a fixed address to send an ambulance to. She was really concerned so forwarded to a doctor who was suppsoed to call sometime in the next 2 hours but she called really quickly. Was really concerned at the amount of oedema and the persistance and perhaps the stomach pain was a symptom of the cause of all that.Â
3 and a hlaf hours later, and one lovely ultrasound later I'm home! My kidneys are fine, liver is fine, gallblader is stoneless so he suspects that it's less to do with the diuretic and more that the medication Im already taken has/is damaging the stomach lining. I'm not 100% convinced as I'd expect if that were the case for it to get much worse after taking the medication but I've got some new meds to help coat the stomach and protect the lining and I'm to take that for a week and see how it goes.Â
Nothing in me works. It's now official.

Jesus that’s awful. How is he doing now?
He's a little better, his BP is up but its still shite at 90/45. which makes me worry what it was when it was bad. he gnuinely thought he was dying at one point because he couldn't sleep bcause when he slept his BP went through the floor and he lost consciousness, so the nurses kept him awake and they couldn't pump fluid in to raise his BP cos couldn't get fluid out and nows hes got another consultant for another issue and nobody will really give him a straight story on what was going on and im furious that J and I got the run around on the phone last night and it fucking sucks that I can't travel cos I can't afford a cab to st johns wood and back and if my car hand't failed its MOT then screw Mr wilson not being keen on my driving, I'd be there but hopefully someone might be able to take me in tomorrow.
but right now he's happy eating vanilla sponge and watching Mr Bean until he falls asleep
I am a rabbit of negative euphoria

Who hoo! Shit! God this is an emotional roller coaster. When you go into your doctors and ask for all those tests, make sure you give em hell.
Very excited about it all, was extremel worried that eeven with the BMP2 that it wouldn't fuse. The bottom fusion he's super pleased with and is, despite this being relatively early days really, pretty certain that that part will continue well and is 'rock solid'. the upper fusion is coming along nicely and about where he thought it'd be at this point so hes hopeful that i'll get about 80% function of right leg back and that eventually the back pain can be controlled with paracetamol and mild painkillers. Its a ways off yet but thats the goal. Chatted about dad's ops as well, its very convenient to share a surgeon and that's going well too and off in a few minutes to visit him. J had to warn Mr Wilson that he's not to go for a Crane hattrick by eyeing up her spine, that she was just fine thank you, so he popped that bubble while smiling like the Cheshire cat and informing her, 'you say that now, but it's all heavily genetic....' Her wee face was totally worth the price o admission
And on monday I get to become my GPs favourite person with -'I say, you there, lovely Mr Man who is considerably more qualifications than you so knows better than you would like the following. Please and Thank You." and I'm tired of the 'you're young, your veins will recover business, as they aren't recovering overnight the way they used to and a three inch difference on my calves from when I get up and when I go to bed isn't super comfy so diuretics please. And please be more concerned about my denty skull than you are! They gonna love me. It's not a good monday unless you've really annoyed someone. Its going to be an amazing monday

Hey, any updates? Did they take him to hospital?
He's gotten an appt to see our surgeon on Monday, he's away until then, and see what happens but if he thinks he's avoiding at least even the laminectomy and discectomy to relieve the cauda equina then he's going tp realise how stubborn a person I am. i know he and Wilson are reluctant to do the full shebang thats really needed, but something has to get done. injections arent cutting it. Going to try to get him a pain management appt too, which O has said she'lll take him to if she's around and itll be a cab if not and calling the specialist nurse in the morning for advice on what medication can be increased safely and what is the best to increase for maximum effect.
He;s still in Cambridge, hes at the airfield as his leg particularly cannot hack getting back in the car and itd be ok on the motorway where he doesnt need to use his leg for the clutch, but there are small roads with many junctions and roundabout and traffic lights to travese to get to the motorway and again off it and his car's parking brake is activated by a foot brake needing his leg.
A friend has voluntered to go get him, but dads being stubborn about leaving his car, so Im trying to find a couple people who can go up together, one can drive dad home and the other dads car or failing that, someone willing to take the train up to CB, cab to the airfield and then drive him home,. hes staying at AF tonight to rest some more but if it is the compression kicking off its not going to get much better by tomorrow for him to drive but the chances of getting him to accept helpp in the form of bringing him home is going to be as good as man landing on Mars tomorrow.

THIS IS AMAZING. Well, my feelings on that were pretty clear. Thank you for my birthday card! I love your loopy handwriting.
I got into trouble for my loopy handwriting when we came back from the states-its very embarrassing to get called to the front of class, told off for your handwriting and given penmanship homwork in front of the kids who already pick on you. So for about a year I behaved, I was literally banned from using loops and I towed the line. Then I went to Snr school and shit got loopy. You cannot suppress the loopy.
I love Gatiss. I do. And in the right role he's great, and idk why, but when I read it I was very ;What/? WHy? ummm... Pk then.
they havent reveled the role yet, probably will at SDCC. Mace Tyrell would fit the age range but who knows?

Much better than two. In fact much better than it has any right to be.
And this girl isn't fool enough to disagree with her dance monkey and book provider. To the cinema my good man!
