@llndeasjourney Llndea: You say it's a trainer's job to keep their pokemon safe from harm. But don't you think just leaving like that is harmful to them?! I don't know how long you've spent with them, but that wishiwashi looked like it was ready to jump back out the water for you! Are you really just gonna give up on yourself and your pokemon!? If that's the case then you really aren't a trainer at all
Belle: They were living just fine on their own before I met them… and now they’re even stronger than before. I care deeply about these Pokemon. I would not be releasing them like this if I had any doubts about their safety in the wild. I am not just leaving them in whatever random area seems okay… they are going home.
Belle: As for the rest of your question… Yes. You’re right. I’m not a Pokemon trainer. And I don’t deserve to be called one.
(@asktrainerzoroark) Snowdrift@Llndea Snowdrift assumes that he wouldn't be able to understand him if he just spoke like normal, so Snowdrift makes pawing motions towards Llndea's glove, curious if it was cosmetic or if he needed it for some reason.
@asktrainerzoroark
Llndea looked at the hybrid, head tilted to the side in confusion.
"What's up? Need something? I can understand pokemon, so you can talk to m-"
Once Llndea noticed what Snowdrift was gesturing to, his eyes lit up to realize what he was referring to.
"Oh my glove?"
Llndea looked around for a bit before turning back to Snowdrift.
"I guess it wouldn't hurt to show you, but try not to tell anyone ok? I've gotten into a lot of trouble because of it"
Llndea proceeds to remove his glove, revealing that the spike that went through it was attached to his hand surrounded by black fur.
@llndeasjourney Llndea @ Ven: Say it seems like some mons are starting to dance. What'd you say we go show em how humans get down?
He paused for a moment, a look of hesitation on his face at the thought of dancing. "I-I don't exactly dance very well." He admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. He was put out of his comfort zone a lot during this ball, and his first instinct was to say no, that he was so overwhelmed, but a sigh escapes his lips. "Okay, fine. Let's go dance. I'll be leaving after this anyways. " He says, giving in and motioning for Llndea to join him on the dance floor.
@llndeasjourney
Platinum: "You know..." He tapped his chin in thought. "You cover your hand for a very specific reason, right?" Platinum lowers his hand, and locks his arms behind himself. "Would you, per chance, tell me why?"
As the rest of the team got on their salamence chauffeur, Llndea stood before the human, rubbing his arm nervously.
Llndea: "Well...the spike on my hand brought me some...unwarranted attention, so I cover it with this glove and never take it off unless I'm home with the others. I wish I could get rid of it; it caused me nothing but pain."
??: "Why get rid of something part of you?"
This came from a man in a turquoise suit with yellow flaps on the shoulders, black pants, and shoes. He also wore a hat with what looked like horns coming out of it; despite his outfit, the thing that stood out the most was the sword resting in a sheath on his hip. Accompanied by him were three other oddly dressed people. Two of them were twins, each wearing a kimono, one of them a male with blue hair and a blue kimono with white stripes, and the other was a female with red hair and a red kimono with white striped. They both seemed to have a diamond-shaped mark on their foreheads; the male was red, and the female was blue. Last in the group was a younger boy, like the man, he wore a suit, this time a beige-colored one with blue pants. He also had a sword on his hip, sporting a single horn.
??: "Yeah, aren't you suppose to have spikes on your hand or something?"
The girl inquired, tilting her head.
??: "Well, duh. He's lucario-kin; lucarios have spikes on their hands."
The male responded, rolling his eyes.
??: "Shuddap! I know that!"
The girl retorted, scowling back at him.
??: "Make me!"
The male replied with a smile
??: "Wait a minute, guys..isn't that one of the trio?"
The boy chimed in quietly, subtly gesturing to the person next to Llndea. The girl looked closely at them, then shook her head
??: Nah. They have a similar aura to them, though. It might be one of those alternate timeline thingies.
Llndea: Ok Ok back up. Who are you? What the heck is "lucario-kin"? And why are you all wearing cosplay?
The four newcomers gasp in unison, their eyes wide as they look at the confused male.
??: You....don't know?
The boy in the suit replied slowly.
Llndea: Uhhh... Know what?
Atzin@Lindea: The sceptile walks up to the human. He takes a moment on whether talk in human or pokemon speech. Deciding, Atzin begins to talk in galarian.
"You look a little lost. How about trying one of the events activities. You can try and find some eggs. Maybe you'll find enough to trade for a prize."
Eggs? Llndea tilted his head in confusion
As in real eggs? Hm...no, probably not.
The male puffs out his chest triumphantly.
Alright! I'm gonna do that. Thanks for the suggestion
Llndea then proceeds to run off determined to find an egg
Ven @ Llndea: "Hey, so how do you feel about all the pokemon here?" The red head asked, shoving his hands in his pockets. "There sure is a lot of them...crowds make me a little nervous admittedly"
"To be honest, I'm more worried about how they feel about us. I understand the nervousness, though I've never seen this many pokemon before and many different species. It's pretty remarkable seeing them all interact like this, as humans do."
A small smile crept up the male's face as he turns to Ven
"Wanna find somewhere to hang out? maybe grab some food? I didn't think I'd be the only human here."
(@ask-blind-eevee) The young, blind eevee looked at the human, or at least tried to, she ended up looking the opposite direction, "I heard you can understand pokemon, that's a unique ability, I've only met one other human with that ability... How are you able to understand us?" Aura asked Llndea
@ask-blind-eevee
That is correct little eevee
Llndea smiles as he turns the eevee around to face him
I would show you why but it seems like your eyes don't work that well, I do hope you've been managing well I know being blind isn't easy. But back to the question, I think the reason I can understand you guys is because of the fact I have a lucario spike and some fur on my hand
Llndea holds up a gloved hand the aforementioned spike poking out of it as of it looking as if it was apart of the glove
I've been trying to figure out how it got there my whole life....the others think I was injected with some lucario DNA or something I dunno.
??: About that I think I know a place where you can look for info about that
A short redhead women was walking over to where the trainer was getting the attention of the others nearby
Llndea: Chryil! What do you mean by that? And what brings you here?
Chryil: I got this in the mail for ya
The female hands Llndea a piece of paper:
Llndea: A ball? Isn't that one of those round toys you bounce around?
Chryil: No, it's an even where you meet people and dance I looked into it and it seems like you could get some info on your hand so I already made arrangements for you and your team
Llndea: W-Wait? Dance?! I've never danced before!
Chryil: You'll be fine. Besides this could be a real opportunity to get out and make more friends
Llndea: And what about Team Evol?
Chryil: Don't you worry bout them! We can handle things in town, even then it's not like their after us anyway.
Llndea: .......ugggg alright fine! We'll go...but if anything happens you better call me!
Chryil: Yeah yeah I will now come on I got Jerry and Kerri making your outfits they should be ready for ya by now
