In the Pokémon world’s equivalent to PBS’ Finding Your Roots, Cynthia was surprised to discover that she and fellow pokemon trainer Palmer were distant cousins. More in depth research into their family histories brought some shocking details to light.

Both Cynthia and Palmer shared the same great, great,great,great,great grandmother: the leader of the mighty Pearl clan Iridia. However, Iridia’s two children: the daughter who’d become the ancestor for Cynthia’s line, and the son who’d become Palmer’s, had different fathers.

When canon gives you unrelated characters, make them being family

So... We kinda had a lot of convo about DHs being family in Specord recently, and I kinda finished doodling a family tree for some of them- Actually, I may doodle all the family tree we came off (if it doesn’t become one of the dozens things I promised to do and never finish)

I came up with Yellow, Pearl, Bianca and Y being cousins last year, when I was writing Don’t Listen Others Confessions or You’ll end up As Responsible than Them, with Yellow and Pearl being cousins and doing shenanigans (that includes trying to hide a body *cough*). Then I heavily hinted Bianca and Y also being their cousins in To Be a Cousin, and I have yet to write more about them because there is potential I just don’t find time argh-

I also wanna include Emerald in the tree since last year, and since last year I’m not sure if I go for Palmer messed up and had Emerald but neither Palmer or Em knew it instead someone (Ruby and/or Sapph, or Crys too...) investigate, or if the cousins just say to Em “Stfu you are part of the family now also can you hold the shovel while I burry the body please”.

Anyway here have a dumb family tree, with OCs I designed on the go to complete the holes and that have nothing define except those little doodles.
