Am I/Have I ever been scared of the dark/monsters.
Brooke scoffed, folding her arms over her chest, "Absolutely not! I've trained Ghost and Dark types before, heck I have a Dragon on my team. I ain't scared of no monsters."

Am I/Have I ever been scared of the dark/monsters.
Brooke scoffed, folding her arms over her chest, "Absolutely not! I've trained Ghost and Dark types before, heck I have a Dragon on my team. I ain't scared of no monsters."
The ace trainer walked up to Brooke and noticed the bug type pokemon in her hand. Admittedly he wasn't expecting her to have bug pokemon on her but he had to ask. "Hey Brooke! See you got a new pokemon in your team, yeah?"
"Yeah! He's pretty cool huh? Anthea and Concordia gave him to me from the rehab center, first shiny I've ever had actually." She smiled, showing him off to Ainsely, "I've never trained a Bug type before though, any advice Mr Ace Trainer?" She grinned.

Brooke had yet to leave Lumiose City, she'd already been there for a little while and yet she wasn't ready to leave just yet! She was still trying to learn her way around, but even locals told her that even they still struggled to navigate the city and they had lived there for goodness knows how many years!
Still, she was determined as ever, wandering the streets of the North Boulevard. After a while she started to feel hungry, so took a break over by the Galette stand. She got herself a slice of the delicious pastry and went over to the rail nearby where she perched herself to eat.
It was a nice day otherwise, nothing crazy going on or anything. Brooke took a bite of the galette, savouring the taste, you couldn't get anything like this back in Kanto. Admittedly Brooke had already had far too much during her short time in Kalos, but hey, until she got sick of it she was determined to get her fill.
"It's snowing outside!"
Brooke jumped up, "What!" She ran over to the window and saw the snowflakes tumbling down, creating the beautiful wintery scene. Her eyes shimmered, "Aw heck yes!" She cried, grabbing her pokeballs. She dashed outside, not caring for winter clothing but for her scarf as she threw the balls in the air, releasing her pokemon. They loved the snow as much as she did.
Her team were quickly engaged in a snowball fight, where Brooke and her pokemon learned very quickly that Dewgong and Seadra made a deadly duo on the snowy battlefield. After a few snowballs to the face, icy water trickling down her back and her toes numb from where the snow had soaked through her running shoes, they decided to call it a night.
Best part about snow? Snuggling up with your closest buds with the heating turned up and a mug of hot chocolate. Perfect.

Brooke was very very carefully treading her way through this particular route through Kanto. It was renowned for the Beedrill population and Brooke certainly did not want to attract any unwanted attention. She tried not to seem to fearful, those things could sense fear, she swore. So Brooke kept her head held high, pokeball in hand just in case she needed to make a hasty escape back. Things seemed quiet, for the time being, which was good. Less chance in beestings for her.

Fresh off the plane, Brooke had arrived in Lumoise City and was already overwhelmed by the sites and sounds of the big city. Now Brooke thought she knew cities, but this one was a cut above the rest! In the distance she could just about make out the famous tower above the rooftops she read about in the tourist brochures, she'd read that it was a gym as well. That excited her, Brooke was seriously considering challenging the Kalos gyms.
She spent far too much time looking up, so bumped straight into the back of another girl, "Oh geeze! Sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going."
