( i know a lot of us like to meme at you over skype chat about clovis running, but it was honestly a very human decision on clov's behalf, and i think it's an extremely visceral + smart way of fleshing him out. i like how he's developed both individually and relationally while keeping his core personality intact. i also like that he's a hot spaniard that is hella metal about battling,,,, no pun intended B^) )

(( Ahhh thank you! ;w;  I'm glad it's not just seen as Clovis being an idiot.... ;w;  I mean.  It was that, but like.  I didn't just make him run off for no reason other than the fact that he couldn't keep it in his pants LOL;;;

I mean, just, if you know Clovis, and I mean REALLY know Clovis...it'd all make sense.  It's not just that he's scared of losing friends, or that he can't own up to what he did to Ryn and Xave...he's also just so reliant on others to boost his self-esteem ;w;  When he's praised he's very happy and confident!  But when he's not, he just starts feeling worse and worse.  So...when he stopped talking to Xave and Ryn, he just.  Sent himself on a downward spiral, until he eventually snapped =u=;;

He really would rather not know if he's still friends with them or not, because in his eyes, they're very likely to ditch him for what he did.  It's like Schrodinger's cat.  You don't know whether it's dead or alive until you open the box...only Clovis is assuming that it's going to die when and if he opens the box.  So at least like this, he's still got a tiny chance.  Somehow.

The boy's life as he knew it is in shambles and he's just not sure how to fix it, plus he's very scared =u= *sigh.....* ))

( i like that his schtick is fire. i always like it when characters have "signature" quirks about them --for instance, miles is the short ginger bara with a booty, benji's hella sassy, dot's got her plants, etc-- because it gives the character a fun niche to capitalize on, without necessarily condemning them to just that niche )

It's a fun schtick and it just kind of happened. I do worry if I end up condemning him to that niche sometimes but hopefully people will tell me if it comes to that. :D))
