So I made a Trainertale take
I call it "Trainertale Phoenix". Not the most unique name, I know, but I like it. The basic idea is a reboot of the original Trainertale that also includes Deltarune characters, because Undertale doesn't really have that many major characters to fill an entire Pokémon game's roster.
Like the original Trainertale, this would play more like Pokémon than Undertale, although it retains the later's artstyle.
I also made 2 supplementary AUs, "Trainerrune Drake" and "Trainertale Legends Keldeo" (which I believe is the first time someone made a Trainertale Yellow, so I'm claiming ownership :])
You can learn more about the AU over this mirror post
Trainertale by @friisans
been replaying Pokemon sun recently and my mind just went “Ink as a Pokemon trainer” so yeah lol
I'm obsessed with the idea that dance, lust, and trainer are all just besties because they are considered old aus by the multiverse so they don't do anything besdies what they get up to in their universes. They all occasionally like once or twice a week and get coffee and cake
Sans trainertale genocide fight.
Idk what other questions to ask,,,,,,,,

GRAAAAAAAAH MY MAIN OC’S MAGIC SYSTEM
Not Mania. Phoebe.
Phoebe’s magic is all about emotions and self growth. It’s one of the biggest arcs in her life. At first she’s kinda just the “Normal type all rounder” that can do a lot, but not well. She’s not the best Type in the Types Team, partly bc she’s so young. It doesn’t But after the Shadow Massacre and being thrust into a new world where her emotions are toyed with, she awakens a new power. The Shadow Type. A power that is fueled by her negative emotions and is basically her intrusive thoughts given form.
Then while recovering, she’s lonely. She’s troubled. She’s mad. She’s wallowing in self pity. And then, boom! She’s awakened something new. She can use a different Type. What’s going on? Well each Type has a specific “need” to really harness their power. And once Phoebe realizes that, it’s only a matter of time until she learns to understand everyone else in the Types Team (even if they’re gone).
But just as easily as she can gain these powers, they can easily be stripped away. That’s what happened when she awakened the Fairy Type. The Fairy Type needs “perfection”. But Phoebe’s perception of that word has been tainted by the actual Fairy Type of the Types Team. So when she realizes what she’s using, she starts to spiral again, and loses a lot of her luster.
Then, she realizes the true meaning of perfection, and regains her confidence. She awakens all of the power needed, and along with that, a new form. The Light Type. Like Shadow, Light is fueled by Phoebe’s emotions and inner struggle. But where one chooses destruction, the other chooses protection. The Light Type doesn’t show herself that often unless something is really affecting Phoebe.
And thus, we reach the end where Phoebe confronts the big villain of her story. She’s losing. Badly. She’s near death. Shadow can’t help. Light isn’t strong enough. In that near fade to black, something clicks. A strange urge. A desire. Come together.
And now a new type has been created. The Harmony Type. Phoebe has become a goddess. She takes down the enemy, and returns to normal, practically drained of all of her energy. The Harmony Type is powerful, but a double edged sword. The pain it takes to form into it and the power it drains from her lead her to avoid using it unless absolutely necessary. And now, armed with a repertoire of magic, what does she do now?
Fight her ex while purposefully holding back to show how pathetic he is.
So that’s Phoebe’s magic in a nutshell :3
