The Longest Day
Day 3 Part 1
Heading out in about 30 minutes for run 1 of 2. Easy 4 miles.
Hoping to add some sanity into what has otherwise been a “palm to forehead” type of day.
I think it’s time...
To start this thing back up again if for no other reason than to hold myself a bit more accountable and at one point down the line, in the not so distance future, review my posts and see progress (queue fantasy images of a rockin’ bod and PR’s).
To fill you all in, without filling up the entire screen, several “things” have happened the last few months - I’ve been in a constant state of injury, scaled back my training to nearly non-existent, gone back to school, DIY’d a nearly new kitchen and of course, lived my normal life (hooray).
All that now being known, a few more things: I had my first appointment with an orthopedist on Friday and now have two follow up appointments in November; the first with a Foot & Ankle Specialist, the second a compartment syndrome “trigger” test. I’ve had a “Today is my Day #1″ three times over - enough is enough. I want off this rollercoaster. So metaphorically, two feet off. It’s time to move forward.
