Some trait mods relating to cooking!
Absent-Minded Sims have a 10% chance to forget their food in the oven, BBQ or microwave. You might have to monitor them when they use these appliances. Of course, it has no effect if free will is disabled.
Natural Cooks will never burn food or cause a fire when cooking (unless their action gets cancelled).
Clumsy Sims have more chance to burn food or cause a fire when cooking (+10%).
In an unmodded game, the chance to burn food depends on the Sim's cooking skill and the food complexity. It can be from 5% for skilled Sims, 30% for food that Sims just unlocked or 10% for food they learned 1 skill point after. Clumsy Sims have +10% more chance and Natural Cooks have 0% chance. Even if a Sim has both the Clumsy and the Natural Cook traits, the chance to burn food will be at 0%.
There’s also a file named clumsy_moreChanceFlambeFail. If you install it, clumsy Sims have a higher chance to drop the food and burn themselves when lighting the flambé on a Baked Alaska or Crêpes Suzette (20% after the initial “chance to burn food” check). They better have a fire alarm or a sprinkler before doing that, especially if they are alone! Sims with both the Clumsy and the Natural Cook traits will still have the 20% chance.
