Now introducing to the clown crew, Hobbs the Hobo! I'm trying to go through the main flavors of clown and hobo clown seemed like the obvious next step ;o)

🎪**CIRCUS CLOWNS** — all the clowns under this category follow similar clown costuming/makeup traits, with differences based on their archetype.🎪

🤡WHITEFACE — ARCH: “head” clown, happy, playful, impish. PHYS: classic clown look pm.

🤡AUGUSTE — ARCH: sad, tragic, unlucky/unfortunate. PHYS: exaggerated frown.

🤡TRAMP CLOWN — ARCH: wanderer, free spirit. PHYS: nomadic style, messy face, props such as suitcases/bags/“hobo sticks”.

🤡CHARACTER CLOWN — ARCH: clowns in this category parody characters/jobs; exaggerated caricatures. PHYS: basically take character type/job uniform and clownify it.

🎪**FOOLS** — the ones that dont fall under the more modern clown archetype. Don’t follow the circus clown style dress/makeup. Also differences in comedy styles from the circus ones.🎪

🤡HARLEQUIN — ARCH: clever, eloquent, trickster, devilish. PHYS: checkered patterns.

🤡JESTER — ARCH: many skills, performers, talented, jacks of all trades. PHYS: motley.

🤡MIME — ARCH: silent. PHYS: monochrome/black and white, stripes.

🤡PIERROT — ARCH: melancholy. PHYS: black and white, sorta doll-like.

🤡BUFFOON — ARCH: vulgar humor, dirty jokes, lowbrow comedy, sometimes can be sort of mean-spirited. PHYS: dirty and/or grotesque.

🎪**OTHER:**:circus_tent: - pueblo — these clowns actually have a sacred/religious use, and it feels disrespectful for play around with them the way i will/do with the other clowns. Like, theyre not just entertainment, theres more ritual and tradition to it. - rodeo clown: too intrinsically tied with rodeo (shocker) and i dont care for rodeo practices.
