What’s your favorite and least favorite thing about ST fandom?
Well, I'll start with least favorite first.
I don't like how if I dislike a character, I feel like I have to defend my decision. It feels like I have to have a paragraph prepared just to talk about why I don't like a fictional character. It just really annoys me. I can't just dislike someone. People defend their favorite characters to the death, and if you disagree, then you are somehow a shitty person. People can just agree to disagree. The whole fandom isn't like that. But I've definitely had my fair share of encounters like that in the fandom.
Now, my favorite part:
I like how when you find people that like and dislike the same things and people you do, it's awesome. I feel like I have a little family here. It's so nice to have a space where I can be with people who have the same interests as me. I also love a lot of the headcanons I've seen. People are just so good at knowing the characters and it's so freaking awesome. Also, there's some seriously talented people in the fandom. Like, really really talented. It's fucking awesome ❤️
