sorry again for all the alice in borderland talk lol but i was thinking about season 2
but one thing i loved about s2 is that for the most part, when a character died (this is mostly referring to the face cards), they died knowing that they had lived their life the way they wanted to (for example, kuzuryū, who looked at peace knowing he had stuck to his principles of equality.)
they were given dignified and fucking cool ways of going out and i’m here for it. it solidifies the show’s message to me—that even in the face of death you can have a fulfilling moment for yourself.
