it is 1am and i’m starved for t4t percabeth content so here we go

ok so

Annabeth is a trans girl and Percy is a trans guy 

Percy knew he felt like a guy from a pretty young age (as in before he went to camp) 

The way the colour blue is associated with boys gives him euphoria and is part of why he likes it a lot. Plus, the whole thing of blue food being special goes with him being different bc of his gender and that colour is even on the trans flag!!

Sally picked out his name

When he told her how he felt, she immediately tried learning as much as she could to help him 

He could unfortunately not be put on blockers until he got to camp but he did start dressing more masculine, chop off his hair and got a binder as soon as he felt like he needed one. 

He was stealth at his boarding school (the one at the beginning of TLT, i can’t remember what it’s called) and Grover is one of the first people he told. 

He also told Mr Brunner/Chiron 

As for Annabeth, she figured it out during her first few years at camp. Since CHB is a pretty accepting place, she got time as a younger kid to dress how she wanted and explore her gender. Dionysus and Chiron helped her with it and since Mr D is basically the god of trans/gnc people in a way, he gave her some sort of godly/magic hormone blockers and gave some to Percy too 

the Aphrodite cabin helped her with makeup when she was old enough to use it.

Thalia picked her name, since she’s kind of an older sister figure to her.

Artemis, since she’s the protector of all women, changed Annabeth’s body and helped with her dysphoria. Unfortunately she couldn’t do anything for Percy.

Percy came out to her on their second quest, and then she came out to him. They were both surprised but glad to know that most people at CHB were accepting (Percy had never tested the waters there because he was stealth).

Chase Kids Headcanons bc I need more content of these two together

• Annabeth and Magnus going to pride (Ann having a trans, bi, and demisexual pride flags and Magnus having a pan and agender pride flag)

• Annabeth and Magnus watching The Good Place together

• Annabeth being at 5,11" and Magnus being at 5,9"

• Annabeth teasing Magnus about being so short compared to her (when in reality it's only 2 inches of distance, but since Annie ages and Maggie doesn't, that distance grows)

• Annabeth being immensely over protective of her cousin in the beginning because she lost him once before, she's not gonna let that happen again

• Magnus calling Annabeth "Annie"

• Annabeth calling Magnus "Maggie"

• Everyone they meet thinking that they're siblings or twins (and the two of them just going along with it)

• Piper and Will and basically everybody saying that Annabeth and Magnus have a twin glare (Annie's glare looks murderous and Magnus's glare looks haunting and frightening, so together it's the perfect storm to get others to do what they want)

• Alex and Nico are almost always the only people who can resist the Twin Glare (TM) (notice how I'm saying "almost always")

• Magnus always finding ways to help out Annabeth with her dysphoria, whether it's with using more feminine terms to describe her with, or buying her stuff like earrings or nail polish (which she doesn't use, but she appreciates the gesture)

• Magnus lets Annabeth paint his nails (mostly he could give less of a shit about the "gendered-ness" about it)

• Magnus likes it and Annabeth gets him in return some headbands, nail polish, and hair ties bc she appreciated him helping her out with her dysphoria (even tho he told her it was fine and he just wanted to do it and he didn't need repayment)

• Magnus never actually paints his nails himself, because he's lazy and he likes hanging out with Annie, doing mundane stuff like doing their nails

• Cabin 6 (Athena's cabin) sees Magnus as one of their siblings and treat him as such

• The two of them have memorized each others Starbucks orders

• They try and catch up once a week on what's been going on in their respective world

• One time, Annabeth roped Nico into coming with her so they could shadow travel there. That's when Nico met Magnus. And Nico was very confused when he saw a guy that looked like a male version of Annabeth that was dead

• They switch each week from Boston to New York

• Sometimes Alex or Percy tag along whenever they're bored

• Magnus pops in every once in a while to see how everything's going at Camp (and to make sure Annabeth's not over working herself)

• One time, Magnus showed up when Apollo was visiting Camp and every few minutes Apollo would just stare at him and mutter "Are you sure you're not my kid?" And every time Magnus would respond "Nah," or "Given the fact that I'm Norse, I'd say no,"

• Apollo looked very frustrated when Magnus was healing someone and practically yelled "YOU'RE LITERALLY GLOWING AND HEALING AND YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU'RE NOT MY KID??" and Will had to sit him down

• Apollo apollogized afterward

• Alex also tags along with Magnus whenever he's visiting CHB

• Alex and Annabeth talk about whatever comes to mind at Annabeth's cabin (the Athena kids also accept Alex one of their own, since she basically Annabeth's sister-in-law)

• Annabeth takes fashion advice from Alex

• When Annabeth first met Alex, she cried tears of joy when Alex told her she was trans and genderfluid

• When Alex was told by Annabeth that she was also trans afterward, she just hugged her as much as she could

• The four (Annie, Alex, Maggie, and Percy) of them try and go to pride together at least once each year

• Magnus, Piper, and Leo get along really well

• They mostly speak in self-deprecating memes and puns

• It's an... experience

• Alex translates and joins them most of the time

• Alex and Percy bond over being genderfluid together

• Alex, Magnus, Annabeth, and Percy went out shopping once

• It was fun, but they spent almost $200

• Magnus paid

• Alex is 5 feet and Percy's 5,5"

• The two of them have a contract to retort with a one liner or insult if one of them gets made fun of for their height

• Which mostly means Alex playfully insults Annabeth whenever she calls Percy fun sized

• It never goes too far

• Annabeth likes helping out at The Chase Space a lot with Percy

• Piper and Leo show up sometimes when they have time

• Piper, Alex, and Leo probably have the most supportive and strange friendship in the Riordanverse (not counting the Grover and Percy friendship Rick has shamefully forgotten about)

• They all share one brain cell

• Annabeth and Magnus also share one brain cell
