i believe in trans!mark grayson who wasn’t supported by his father growing up. nolan didn’t know let alone see any other viltrumites transitioned to the opposite gender, whatever they were born as was what they were. mark grew up having his deadname being used repeatedly by his father despite him coming out at a younger age. debbie didn’t understand at first, but if she knew mark was hurting because of how much his old name affected him, she’d learn quickly how to be supportive despite nolan’s more traditional mindset.

debbie had to force nolan to accept they no longer had a daughter anymore, now a son. this didn’t faze nolan as much, whatever his wife said was true and he’d listen. however, nolan would hold more higher expectations before when mark gets his powers. since he was now a viltrumite man, he would need to be just like his father in order to earn the title ‘pure viltrumite.’ mark, before his top surgery, trained day and night because if he wasn’t as strong as a viltrumite man, he was terrified his father would never view him as a man ever.

trans!mark where he joins the guardians and they see his top surgery scars for the first time. maybe f!reader is apart of the team too but shes newer than mark is (hes been there for maybe a month and shes been there for like a week) and doesnt know everyone like they know each other and this is totally new for her, but she goes to comfort mark if hes feeling embarrassed or anything bc shes also t4t and they start becoming friends over it. more like a fluffy "maybe theres something maybe there isnt" friendliness

honestly, mark is looking for validation from mainly his father. if the guardian had little to no idea mark was transitioned, he believed that he was passing. no one would ever give him shit for it, but some questions would rise up as, “how were you able to get top surgery with your viltrumite skin?” and so on. marks not offended or uncomfortable, he’ll answer questions for those who are confused, like immortal or the older generations.

despite this, mark would still hide the fact he’s a trans man only because if people think he’s cis why change their point of view? this consists of a lot of tank tops being worn during trips to the beach or any hot weather where it’s normal to take off your shirt.

however if he were to make friends with you whether or not you’re trans yourself, mark would be grateful to have someone whose trying their best to learn about him. mark falls within the next few months, he tends to wear his heart on his sleeve.

that’s actually so fricking cute, imagine helping mark with his shots but he has to use GDA special syringes because of his viltrumite skin. mark is still scared of needles despite being a grown man, he also doesn’t let anyone but you do the shots.

mark has trouble when he sees his other variants be biologically male, some didn’t even transitioned. he’s staring at himself, the many versions where they are comfortable in their own skin, he wishes life wasn’t so cruel to him in this life.
