Some trans Sinclair twins thoughts:
- Bo and Vincent were conjoined twin girls, probably named something like Beatrice and Victoria.
- Bo showed his dysphoria early on, he showed more typical masculine behavior which his parents did NOT like, part of the reason why he was so mistreated early on was his gender nonconforming behavior.
- Vincent wasn’t as obvious, he wasn’t super dysphoric and wasn’t super uncomfortable being seen as a girl, but always felt like there was something more, something else going on.
- Bo didn’t ever try to be a girl, he knew early on it wasn’t right and it wasn’t ever going to work, while Vincent tried for years to fit into gendered expectations (especially when his deformity challenged the beauty standards of the traditional female role)
- Bo was always a sort of scrappy tomboy, always very uncomfortable with appearing feminine
- Vincent was more feminine. Vincent wasn’t ever really uncomfortable with femininity itself, just when it was associated with his actual gender.
- it was in their late teens that they discovered what being transgender was, Bo immediately identified with it while it took Vincent many years (until his mid twenties) to embrace the label
- now, many years down the road, Bo lives as a very traditional masculine man. It’s both because it’s what he is most comfortable with, but also because he fears that anything else could invalidate his identity
- Vincent is more fluid. He feels that he is a man, but the label is more open and non-constricted than for Bo. He gladly and comfortably embraces feminine attributes and behaviors, since he’s grown comfortable in his own identity enough that he knows it doesn’t change his manhood.
- Bo respects his twin’s fluidity, he doesn’t think Vinny is less of a man because of his long hair or feminine interests, but can’t really accept that for himself
- both use he/him, although Vincent is a little more open to other pronouns (other than she/her, he still doesn’t feel comfortable with those)
- Bo is straight, was very much bullied for being a lesbian as a teen. He could be on the aromantic spectrum but he doesn’t know about it
- Vincent is gay, you could say he’s hetero-curious but only a little bit. He finds female bodies interesting and beautiful mostly from an artistic standpoint. He’s also a massive romantic, always dreamed of boys and dates and getting traditionally romanced
- honestly idk how they got ahold of T, maybe Bo got a prescription and just shares it with Vincent? Maybe they have connections to some pharmacy, a doctor or worker there with a debt to pay off, maybe they steal it or get it illegally. Both have been on T for over a decade at this point.
- Vincent did Bo’s top surgery but has kept his own breasts, he never really hated them and doesn’t feel particularly dysphoric. There’s also like no one around who’d misgender him because of them, Bo and Lester don’t care
- Bo would absolutely want bottom surgery but can’t afford it currently, Vincent kinda wants it but isn’t 100% sure
- Lester has been 1000% supportive of his brothers. He got one of those stupid “man cave” signs for Bo and it was very gender affirming to him<3
- generally, the twins are so far into their transition that they kinda don’t even think about it, they just live as the men they always were and that’s that
