What are some of your favourite trans combeferre headcannons?

I don’t really have favourites, because it’s a headcanon to which I desperately cling, but here’s a few that I really like:

He’s a trans demiguy.

He’s very short, as in 5″4″ short. He’s towered over by most of the other Amis.

He likes wearing button-ups with floral patterns because he finds that they cover up his chest and give him a sense of “traditional masculinity”.

He wears glasses, but he used to hate them, because they used to make his face look very round.

He’s very quiet, because before he transitioned he used to be very self-conscious about his voice. It still surprises him when his voice is deep.

He wears large, baggy jeans to cover up his hips.

He didn’t know he was trans from a young age! He was always really disconnected from his body until he clued in when he was a teenager.

He’s very private about being trans - not because he thinks it’s shameful, but because he just wants to think of himself as a guy.

I should be doing stuff but I'm gonna write nonsense about Ferre here. Before transitioning Ferre had long hair and it was really curly and people would tell him it was his best feature making him look like a "true latina beauty" until he got a cut and style his hair whatever tf he wanted and he realized people were not nice about it, most of them weren't supportive and made rude comments but he continued to slay life

Combeferre frequently wore his binder too much for too long in the wrong size before getting top surgery and now makes a point to share information about how to bind safely and make sure trans/nb folk don't permanently mess up their bodies like he did. He also works with Jehan to try and figure out what they can do to make even better binding technology

- Ferre is always v conscientious abt how long he's been binding for, and often has to remind Enj to take his damn binder off bc we all know that boy hyperfixates like anything - he used to double bind as a young teenager before he found out how Terribly Horrible it is for your health, so now he spreads awareness about safe binding -but enough about binding, let's discuss books! super eclectic mix of books and R is like ???tf how do you find anything you want?? But they are all actually ordered?
