y'all will say "biology has nothing to do with being a man or woman" and then take hormones to mimic the secondary sex characteristics of the opposite sex and in extreme cases go under the knife to chop off your breasts and castrate your penises. like if being a man or woman has absolutely nothing to do with biology, why are you attempting to transition at all? what are you even transitioning from, if your biological sex has no bearing on your so-called internal sense of identity. why are any of you even calling yourselves trans. like genuinely
I am sick of the way transpeople act like radfems are uneducated on transgender theory and identities. They love to say that we need to listen to non-binary voices or the experiences of trans-women/men in order to reach conclusions, instead of making assumptions. The issue is that it only works if your movement is coherent with a group of people who have an ability to articulate what it is to be non-binary or trans with a solid explanation. This explanation cannot rely on circular reasoning, logical fallacies and inconsistencies, or misogynistic stereotypes. Radfems have reached our conclusions because we listened to transpeople, and we applied our critical thinking skills to assess the validity and truth of what they were saying. The conclusion we reached is that these categories, as defined by transgenderism, have no definition making them nonsensical terms to use.
I am over the way that they have decided the only voices that matter in this debate and discussion are theirs. The validation of their identities relies on dismantling and denying the identities of all people who understand that man and woman are sex categories. It's hypocritical of them to expect us to listen to their voices and validate their identity when they refuse to extend the same courtesy to us.
To all transpeople: your comfort is not my problem, and it's not my job, or the job of oppressed groups, to give up our rights in order for you to gain the privilege of dismantling the progress wenhave made in the fight for women's and LGB rights. You need to grow up and realise that your individual identity does not matter nor do you have the right to control the way people speak and view you. You are just as insignificant as the rest of us.
knew he'd block me lmao. they always do when they know they're wrong. here's what i was going to say:
but i thought sex and gender were different? isn't that what your movement believes? radfems agree with that. sex is a material reality, gender is a social construct. you can absolutely have single-sex spaces and gender abolition at the same time.
sex-segregated spaces and women's safety are more important than validating someone's gender feels.
you have no idea what we believe in or advocate for, and you clearly have no interest in educating yourself. the least you can do is keep us out of your mouth, stop spreading blatant lies, and stop trying to gaslight those of us who call you out.
i'll get off your post when you get out of women's business.

PinkNews has published multiple articles in the past few months suggesting the United Kingdom is a dangerous or unwelcomingplace for transgender identified people.
In response, I looked at 13 years of news reports (including those published by PinkNews itself) searching for evidence of this claim.
I looked for any and all reports of trans people being murdered, assaulted, or raped — and since 2008 I was able to find 12 reports total between the UK and Ireland. Of the 12, only 3 of which can be considered bonafide anti-trans hate crimes and were investigated or treated as such by police and the courts: Giovanna Del Nord, Anna Montgomery, and a protected-identity transwoman who was attacked in Yorkshire in 2020.
In contrast, I also looked for any and all reports of trans people murdering, assaulting, or raping others — and since 2008, I was able to find 48 reports. In trans rights activist-fashion, I am not debating over whether or not these people are ‘genuinely transgender,’ but rather accepting their claim however it stands. I also included the possession, creation, and/or distribution of child sexual exploitation material amongst these as I consider it to be assault against a child (as we all should) and a violent crime in general.
The list of assaults does not include the 2020 assault of an Arabic youth by three transwomen, as the youth was hurling racist abuse at the women, all parties involved were intoxicated, and the Judge acknowledged the youth was the instigator of the incident. Thus, I do not feel it is similar to much of what other offenses have been committed.
I am not including transvestites who never identified as transgender.Every individual on this chart explicitly stated they were transgender. I am also not including any murders or assaults within prisons or other institutions where figures for violence and assault tend to be quite high.
Interestingly, if we were to strip away all of the crime on the right side of the chart that was committed where ‘transness’ was not cited as a direct factor — we would be left with the exact number of crimes on the left side if we removed all crimes where anti-trans hate was not a factor.
The obvious counter-argument trans rights activists will propose is that there is some hidden epidemic of murders in the UK/Irish trans community, ones which somehow never make the news.
However, the details on trans murders is extremely consistent with data from Transrespect, which concluded there were 9 trans people killed in the UK between 2008 and 2018. However, the methodology and information on who, exactly, those people were was not provided. I am continuing to search for the missing one or two claimed in this Transrespect chart that are not represented here.
I will update this article with information on either side as it becomes available!

If you define "lesbian" as "a woman attracted to other women," then a lesbian can't be attracted to trans men, because they're not women. If you define "lesbian" as "a woman attracted to people with vaginas," then a lesbian can't be attracted to trans women, because they don't have vaginas.
Words have meanings. Pick a definition and stick to it.
If Scarlett Johansson can't take a role playing a trans man (whether Dante Tex Gill was trans in the first place is highly debatable) then I don't ever want to see a trans actor playing anything other than a trans character. No "CIS" roles for any of you.
