well.

it's not as bad as it was for maddox. jet's only role is as a featured extra on HSM4. if it was before, transphobes would get right up in a twist about it, but it wouldn't be headline news or anything, he's not that well known anyways.

if it's after maddox has her meltdown???

oh you know the news has a fucking FIELD day with this.

"brother of mentally ill sister is a degenerate trans" "the brother of the autistic PA who attacked members of the press is revealed to be transgender". many people saying that 'looks like mental illness runs in the family' etc etc.

the day it gets found out, jet can't breathe. and his sister can barely help, still recovering from everything that happened. and now he's been revealed. he has a panic attack that lasts 30 minutes, and a call from their (angry) parents gets ignored.

so, safe's to say, everything goes to shit.

it took them what felt like forever to realise they're both trans. maddox knew they both were but was NOT about to get in the middle of telling one an other so she just had to watch in agony as the two boys made their own reasons for why they have to get changed in private and will NEVER take their shirts off (SHE'S TIRED PLEASE JUST TELL EACH OTHER-)

but when they did oh my god these two made the shittiest trans jokes known to mankind. maddox is about to get kourtney and gina involved w all the trans jokes- but knows gina will just find a way to join in. ("what does the trans joker use? jestosterone!" "ricky shut up")

for birthdays they always get each other something they know will affirm the other's gender- ie baggy clothes, more masculine clothing, cologne- that sort of thing yk

i just know these two would work out together and be like "yeah we're gym buddies !!" but its actually working out in mike's basement w a set of weights and a treadmill (IT COUNTS IT COUNTS)

they have matching silly tattoos im sorry i don't make the rules

they def go to pride (post top surgery) with nothing on their top halves other than a trans flag as a cape im just sayin

they have matching testosterone tattoos of like the structure of a T molecule

they work out together. like they don't go gym bc scary but ricky has a small collection of weights and a treadmill his dad forgot about and they just work out together while the HSM soundtrack plays in the background

when they FINALLY realised they were both trans i stg these two literally messaged each other everything. tmi was no longer a thing. ricky's gone to bunk his lesson? jet already knows. he's probably hiding under the bleachers. jet's not here for rehearsals? don't worry miss jenn he'll be here in a second, he has that teacher on thursdays last lesson that always holds them back until the last minute.

when jet comes out to the rest of the group, ricky fully celebrates with maddie and the rest of the wildcats. he comes to the apartment with a bunch of blankets and a few flags and puts them around the living area and builds a den for him and jet where they then built lego and watched their comfort movies on ricky's old laptop that hardly even works. (the flags were the top of the den for ur information)

jet once got ricky this like subtle bracelet with trans flag colours on it for his birthday and ricky was like :0 and jet showed that he had a matching one. ricky cried btw and always wears it.
