I really hate how history erases trans people completely especially in mine and the neighboring countries.
We had this transmasc painter back in ww2 and the communist era who was very openly trans. He used he/him (and people referred to him by his correct pronouns may I add), wore "masculine" clothes and had the jazziest slick back mullet thing going on. Yet historians today misgender him constantly and claim that he just "wanted to be special".
Historical trans figures could literally crawl out of their graves and say "I AM TRANSGENDER" and people would still deny it
