it’s Bird’s first night living with their fiancée in Wisconsin, my first real night knowing they’re not (physically) around. Lots of emotions going through our head. Clover and Jer have been so good through this and are making sure I know we’re not alone. My heart aches. In good and sad ways. Forced growth and change is never fun. But we will persist.
