Okay so my favorite South Park head-cannon is trans Stan. Ever since that bathroom episode and how much he was struggling to figure out where he belonged I cannot see him as cis anymore, so here’s my design for girl Stan. I usually call her Raven as a callback to the name she used when joining the goth kids and I love her more than anything. Also I literally only drew this a month ago and already changed my art style so maybe I’ll redraw her in my new style sometime.

The South Park episode “Spookyfish” was, in fact, not a metaphor for Sharon Marsh’s battle with menopause but instead a metaphor for Stanley’s coming to terms with his being trans, with Aunt Flo being (obviously) the arrival of his period, thus bestowing upon him the confusing and terrifying “gift” of dysphoria (Spookyfish). The dysphoria thus causes problems and conflicts in Stan’s life that he himself is blamed for (the murders) and he is also not believed (or is merely being disregarded) when he claims that he is not at fault for what the fish did, as observed through Sharon’s repeated insistence that she “has such a nice, good boy.” Even after the period leaves, (Flo’s death) Stan is still left with the stupid fucking fish to deal with and a mother who refuses to listen to him when on the subject of his lashing out, in this essay I will
