I have a concept and that concept is the Ninja (mostly Cole) randomly introducing Wu to modern concepts of gender, sexuality, and occasionally even mental disabilities and every single time without failure he'll be like 'hmmm, like [friend that lived an indetermined amount of time ago]?'

At first the Ninja only do it when it comes up but it soon turns into a game to see if there's a thing that Wu doesn't have a old friend he can apply to. It escalates all the way to Nya telling him about autism and Wu justs nods and says 'hmmm, like my father' and everyone loses it.

Also:

'Hey Uncle Wu do you know anyone who's switched gender?'

'Oh yes, I did that when I was younger. I didn't really enjoy being a girl.'

so i basically cant stop thinking about transfem!wu. ive bestowed the highest honor a lesbian fan can give a character which is: Woman. she lives rent free in my head. and in makos

cant decide wether or not i like the idea of wuko happening before or after wu comes out, either publicly or privately. However, i do think there is comedic potential in the misunderstanding of something something "can you believe mako is dating a Princess now!" and ppl Assume its the unnamed fire nation princess and that creates public drama cause No! They Are Not Dating! but also it Is True but mako can't tell who cause she uhm has not made her public debut yet.

I love everything about this! Does transfem Wu keep her name? (since it's established to be a woman's name in Aang's time)

Sooooo I also have always really loved transmasc Mako. What if discovering Mako is trans is what gives Wu the courage to come out as trans too 😭 that gives me lots of feelings
