High School Au Headcanons!

These headcanons are separate from the little high school au oneshot I made. Lets get to it!

💚💙🗡Link🗡💙💚

-He is seventeen years old and a junior at Hyrule Highschool

-Ftm (on testosterone but no top surgery yet)

-Calls his skateboard the “Hylian shield” because no matter how many times he bails, the board will not break, just like a shield.

-Semi-verbal but prefers to communicate through sign language

-Diagnosed with autism but it isn’t very noticeable

-Part of the school fencing club

-His friend group involves Daruk, Mipha, Urbosa, Revali, and Zelda.

-Although he tries not to think this way, he has a toxic masculinity mindset. Not towards others, only on himself.

-His dad doesn’t really care about him that much. He let him transition but only in the way a “real man” would turn out.

-Has a tendency to put others before himself, which often gets him in trouble or hurt. This also is because of his self-harming behaviors.

-has a small crush on Zelda, but tries not to show it

-Students have an option to stay in the dorms or at home. He chooses the dorms. Luckily, he doesn’t get a roommate due to being trans.

-Had a toxic boyfriend before breaking up with him. His name is Ghirahim. (basically Ben Hope)

-She’s 17 (a few months younger than Link)

-Also trans but mtf (transitioned when she was really young  and has been on E since she was 13 so she passes very well)

-Her dad is the principal of the school

-She’s very pressured to keep her grades up which sometimes lead to anxiety attacks. Luckily Link’s presence can calm her down pretty easily.

-Learned sign language when she was in middle school so she’d have an easier time understanding Link.

-Part of the robotics club with Purah, Symin, Robbie, and Impa.

-She worries for her friends a lot (mainly Link)

-Big history nerd

-Tutors Link and Daruk from time to time

-Helps get Link through autism shutdowns from time to time

-she sometimes sneaks out of her dorm to Daruk and Revali’s room where all their friends have board game or movie night.

-She loves spending her time in the library and will often hang out there more than in her own dorm.

-Banned books reader

-Big stuffed animal collector

A Trans-Zelda idea

Okay hear me out. My headcanons for Zelda and Link are normally pretty tame and most of the time don't go so much into other sexualities and genders, but I just had this idea.

What if one Zelda reincarnation is assigned male at birth? And everyone's like "Oh no Ganon is coming and we don't have the princess with her sealing power." And the prince of Hyrule is also like "I wish I was the princess with the sealing power"

Then one day while trying out his mothers clothes, a sudden magical power awakens in the prince. The prince, who had weird feelings about his gender is like "wth how do I have this power, I'm not the princess."

And then it clicks. The egg cracks. He was assigned something that he isn't and he is actually a girl. She IS the princess with the sealing power, she just had no idea that the power was always there, just the gender didn't arrive yet.

Because y'know. Transwomen = women. Obviously this is nothing you'd ever see in a game, but I imagine this would make for a great story. Who knows if Link doesn't go through the same thing (but ftm)? It's like one of the most adventurous t4t stories ever.
