What gave me a lot of euphoria (and prompted me to make this blog) was my partner from Australia and myself joking around, I made a comment about them being Australian, and they went "you're Australian!" and I said "Yeah I really wish I was!" and they told me I could just say that I'm Australian and no one would care. "You can just say you're Australian!" "Just put the flag in your bio, its okay!" "If anyone hears your voice, just say you moved recently!"
Like they really helped me with my transID and they didn't even realise the amount of euphoria I was getting from that conversation.
I hope this helps other transaussies! Cisaussies do not care!
one thing I'm worried about is talking to someone and them going "are you trying to do an Aussie accent" or "you're not a native are you"
itll be so embarrassing like is my accent so bad you're clocking me
itd be even worse if they aren't Aussie themselves
transethnic culture is feeling so euphoric when listening to music associated with your tethnicity. Like yes yes, Appalachian mountain themed music, I love being West Virginian! I haven’t found music for Australia yet but… yk!
heyy i was told u do transid tip so if ur up for it could you maybe do transPOTS? or transaustralian? either one would be lovely !! thank you so much
😵💫~TRANSPOTS AND TRANS AUSTRALIAN TIPS~🇦🇺

😵💫TRANSPOTS😵💫
😵💫Act dizzy whenever you stand too fast! Try slowing your movements, act uncoordinated, and try to balance yourself!
😵💫Tell those around you that you feel dizzy or off when ever standing and don't look them in the eye because of blurry vision!
😵💫Act nauseous after moving too fast!
😵💫Act like you have anxiety/are panicking when you feel dizzy!
😵💫If you want it to be bad, pretend to be on the verge of fainting and go into a dark room to "calm yourself down"!

🇦🇺TRANSAUSTRALIAN🇦🇺
(If any CisAustralian sees this and finds it innaccurate, plz tell me!!)
🇦🇺Try and get an Aussie accent or pick up the Aussie way of saying words! (Brekkie = Breakfast, Sunnies = Sunglasses, etc!)
🇦🇺Learn the history and stances of the Australian people! Such as Anti-Authoritism!
🇦🇺Always help a mate(friend) out! This is an example of mateship, which is very popular in Australian culture with humility and loyalty ^^
🇦🇺Focus on connecting with the land and it's energy to practice "Dreamtime"! A practice in Australian culture to focus on ancestors and creation!
🇦🇺Have meals that are more common in Australia! Such as BBQs, pavlova, and meat pies!
🇦🇺Research about the animals that live in Australia! Such as Koalas, Kangaroos, wombats, etc!
🇦🇺Overall, just immerse yourself in the Australian culture and your disability symptoms! Because you ARE Australian AND HAVE POTS, don't let others tell you otherwise!😵💫
(Sorry if these aren't too good! Hope u like them but remember to take the TransAustralian ones with a grain of salt as I am not CisAustralian ^^)
since I saw transaussie being coined twice recently, I thought I'd share the long post of transaussie tips I wrote on my first blog here (link). I haven't reread them but I hope they're helpful
