As Dan Nannini, Transfer Center Director at Santa Monica College, pointed out to me last week, “Every student is just so darn different.” He’s right. And given the great variety of reasons for students transferring—from military deployment to simply not vibing with a particular school—it may seem impossible to create a method that can work for everyone.
