Very pleased to officially announce that I am working with Transfiguring Adoption to illustrate their series of "A Guide to Magical Creatures Around Your Home". TA is a group that develops media resources to help foster and adoptive families, and I am absolutely thrilled to be on this project.
These two are the Dipsy Toad, whose saliva induces good dreams, and the Tangerella, a fairy that makes its home in children's tangled hair. More of these and news ones are to come, and you can read up on some of them here!
For this event, the Potterhead Running Club has chosen to support three “Potter” inspired nonprofits with the brilliantly named “Slug Club Armchair to 5k.”
A nonprofit organization, Transfiguring Adoption, has announced that Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) is helping to raise awareness of its work by lending his name to a very special award.

Thriving in Summer
I was asked to participate in an online discussion panel with Transfiguring Adoption, which develops media resources that nurture growth in foster & adoptive families.
This discussion was called Thriving During the Summer and discussed things to do during those summer months when our kiddos are home 24/7. A useful discussion for all parents, not just foster-adopt.
