In defence of Ultra Magnus!

It is way too common to label Predacons as ultimate, unbeatable opponents. Despite what Predaking says, it isn’t true that they can’t be defeated. If you have been judging Ultra Magnus for losing his fight with Skylynx, I am here to show you why Ultra Magnus is a dragon-punching badass.

First off, Ultra Magnus is very powerful. He can hit a Predacon so hard that it gets swept off its feet. His punches and strikes HURT Predacons. Now I don’t think Ultra Magnus can defeat Predaking, but he could probably beat any other Predacon... 

With just one hand, Ultra Magnus is able to KNOCK A PREDACON OUT OF THE SKY. He downs Skylynx with just one punch, and for most of the fight, he continuously beats back the Predacon with no issues.

Now the reason Ultra Magnus loses is simple. It was because of Smokescreen.

When Ultra Magnus sees Darksteel about to burn up Smokescreen, he stops what he is doing to try and help him. He is so concerned that completely forgets his own fight and turns his back on Skylynx.

Skylynx takes advantage of this and finally lands a proper blow on Ultra Magnus.

From the scan in the background, we can see that Ultra Magnus’ real injuries are the internal ones. He got hit very hard very fast off-screen, and that is why he was incapacitated. Skylynx did this the moment Ultra Magnus wasn’t defending himself.

Note the highlight on Ultra Magnus’ head back there in the scan.

That injury was actually shown, when Skylynx bites his head and throws him. As you can imagine, a head injury is very serious and that is why he could no longer move.

Ultra Magnus is truly a very strong bot with damaging punches. All this proves that not only can he hold his own against Predacons, but his loss was due to his caring spark. He acted out of concern for Smokescreen, and Smokescreen doesn’t even known that this was what happened. 

I wonder how many other times Ultra Magnus acted out of concern for others, only for no one to see it?

Little random post but I'm so happy..I have to spread it into the world. We have booked our tickets and room and it was such a fight >.< The rooms we're gone so damn fast and I'm totally ko cause I was so nervous about the rooms and tickets. >///< But it's done and I hope we will see us there
