[ Burning Man 2022 : Waking Dreams ]⁣ ⁣ Several weeks after Burning Man 2022: Waking Dreams 🦋, I finally have time to sit down and reflect on the once again life-changing experience. 🙌⁣ ⁣ This year was my 6th and first burn since 2019! One of my intentions at this year’s burn was to reconnect with my global tribe. 🌎⁣ ⁣ Burning Man is indeed a celebration of people, music, and life sans pareil. I loved embracing wonder and going with the flow and dancing my heart out with friends old and new until sunrise. ❤️‍🔥⁣ ⁣ After a week of explorations and adventures, on burn night, hundreds of ‘art cars’ and 75,000 people gathered around “the man” for man burn ceremony. 🎉⁣ ⁣ What erupted after was an epic celebration rightly dubbed by Rolling Stone Magazine as “the most transformational festival in the world” !⁣ 🎊 ⁣ Some pics and videos of Burning Man 2022. Getting ready for another @sonic bloom. I've been to every one since 2010. That first one for me was one of the big reasons I felt drawn to Colorado. At the time I was still living in Iowa City, IA and knew I wasn't going to stay there but didn't know where I would end up. The Colorado community felt very supportive of each other and was exactly the kind of vibe I was looking for. 9 years later I've got myself deeply involved in the Colorado community and continuing to step towards a thriving art career as a poet. I've never bought a ticket and always work in some capacity.
