I have a theory that Hasbro actually got real life transformers working for them.
First of all, how could G1 name their two main humans Spike and Sparkplug.
Like, both of these names are human characters from the Transformer G1 that are meant for human kids in front of the TV to feel connected to. But their names feel more Autobot than the Autobot themselves.
They feel like names that TRANSFORMERS give humans.
Secondly, TFP Jasper Trio also give weird “transformer trying to write human characters vibe”. First of all, Miko has no common sense and is absolutely feral. Rafael is more genius than god himself. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY Miko is feral. As awesome as Miko is, do any of you actually stop and think who could have possibly made the creative decision to make Miko, the character that little girls in front of the screen are supposed to feel related to, the way she IS?
Jack feels better though, but it’s like some actual human just came into the scene and go “dude god this is not how you write humans STOP.”
And just genuinely Transformer Prime bots have a lot more depth and character arc and significance than the humans ever have.
So yeah—
You can tell me to shut up.
But you can’t convince me that Hasbro doesn’t have real transformers working for them. Who actually has a lot of power though, enough yo screen write and able to publish their stuff. Potencially at times they are even the ones writing their own stories, trying really hard to hide that fact, but their misrepresentation of humans at times make that slip.
Hasbro…
You can hide…
But you can’t hide forever….
