Earths Solar System - (Earth Time) Monday 7:52 PM MT Space
Space, quiet. Deep space is never truly peaceful. Especially at the part where others can’t see it.
Explosion was all that’s seen on a ship deep in the Solar System of earth. A large purple ship called the Nemesis Two attached to its side, unfazed by the destruction. Screams and bloodshed heard within the ship. Mechs and Femmes being slaughtered and shot throughout the halls. Some with the same insignia as the ship they’re killed in and others with the Decepticon insignia.
This was a planned ambush.
“No- NO PLEASE! ACK-” A mech falls to the ground. His throat sliced open for a near decapitation with an axe. A heavy pede stepping next to the now grey corpse. Faint sounds of cries and screams heard on the ship from down the halls and deeper in the ship. He pedes continued with a heavy and almost floor shaking step. A deep hum starts to be heard, casually swinging in his cervo, spreading green blood on top on pedes and the floor next to him.
Creating a small line of splattered blood, his shoulders firm but movements relaxed, walking past the passing point of the escape pod area. Another large and long green blood trail is seen making its way towards the remaining escape pod of the ship. The area seemed quiet from the screams of others.
The light above flickering slightly suddenly thanks to the ship taking up more damage.
Casually tossing the axe to the side, the hums grew closer, passing the weak legs with blood splattered on. Green with scratches even under the green pedes.
The pedes finally make a stop next to the rest of the green frame bloodied up by the lighter green blood. Soft groans coming from the smaller frame. The mech stands still for a moment next to the green mech. Seeming to be looking over the green one for a moment. His humming continues, quiet and dim lights flashing on and on. The green body against the floor, unable to reach the remaining escape pod by an inch.
The mech releases a soft sigh. “You understand why we attacked your ship?...”
The mech finally spoke. The green one still laying on his stomach with blood pouring slowly from the side of his waist. The green mech groaned again, trying to turn on to his side but struggles. Falling back to his front with a small thud. His body slightly shaking, unable to move much.
The larger mech tsks in disappointment. Seen from below, the mech was purple with a detailed and menacing purple mask with red optics. His optics relaxed, narrowed. His large cervo raised in front his chassis. Digits gently rubbing together mixing blood together, his helm tilts with near curiosity. Another sigh. “Your leader Magnus. He’s was a pain during the times of the golden war. Always beating me to the pulp before our mission was finished. He escape too?”
His voice smoothing more enough to back anyone's spine tingle, not in a good way. His red optics returning towards the soft whimpers from the mech. Helm turning straight again towards his whimper. Optics widening the faint inch a moment.
Smoke coming out the sides of his mask, leaning down at the same time to lean next to him. His blood covered cervo now on his knee, optics looking over the mech with a couple more helm titles. His non-bloody one reaches towards his waist. Gently touching the curve in the blood to look over the wound. It was deep. Close to where organs would be.
With a gentle push. The green mech's frame turns to his back.
But an almost loud whimper of pain escapes his dermas. More blood pouring from his side once flat on his back. His chassis and other parts of his frame bloodied. Blood almost drooling out his mouth with enough that almost made him choke. Blood around his optics coming from his helm. The mech looked older. Mainly thanks to the years of year but still young enough to be considered a young adult than an elder.
Under the mask, even seen in his optics. The purple mech smiles under his mask. His bloody cervo moves from his knee. Going under the mechs helm with gentleness, adding more blood to mix with his on his helm.
A deep hum leaves the large mech, his hold of the greens mechs helm was gentle. Caring even. Red optics narrowing more. His helm tilting forward “I remember you. Even before the war, you didn’t seem to change a bit over the million years ... .you don’t remember me but you were kind..” He continued.
His other cervo still at the curve of the dying mechs waist.
But now it gently moved up and down his waist in a comforting affection, moving slowly to the front of his waist now. Palming over the center of his abdomen. “I was what you called a “nerd” back home. A little mech running around the functions of Cybertron, making sure the city of Iacon had power. Good gig until I lost it to a rich kid. Met you when after and you told me to not give up easily…After that I became a spy and gained skills. I was good.”
He mentions. His voice remained deep. Cervos moving as if he’s trying to comfort him. Like an injured child, he continues. “But my, my, Megatron's words reach me in ways I didn’t expect. Now I work for the DJD. Anything to only leave those truly loyal to Megatron ... .Good thing you aren’t a Decepticon.”
A smirk under his mask. His cervo moves from his waist towards his chassis. Quiet. “AH!” The green mech groaned. Forcing open his chassis. The mechs arm reaches, his cervo grabbing his arm. Groaning in pain but unable to stop him.
His cervo reaches to grip the purple mechs arm. “Please….”
He begged softly. Unable to lean up himself. The purple mechs cervo continued at his chassis. Pulling out a small glowing ball at the center of his chassis. Holding the small ball in his cervo, moving his thumb. His thumb digit rises, then with slowness. His digit starts to press on the ball slowly, harshly. Crushing a dent into the cog before the green mechs optics Letting out a deep and smooth chuckle. He loos back at the mech.
Without breaking optic contact, his cervo moves closer, forcing the damaged cog back deep into his chassis. He understood what he did. With intentions that weren’t likely good. The green mech stare at him. Falling in and out of consciousness. One optic struggling to remain open. His cervo closes the mechs chassis. His other casually dropping his helm making a small and soft thud. Causing the poor mech to groan softly.
“You will have a bit of a struggle returning to the allspark. But, let's hope you're stronger than you realize. Best of luck.”
He finished with a menacing calmness. Standing at his full height to cast the overly large shadow over the dying mech again. The smile gone from under the purple mechs mask. Things continue to blur in and out for the mech. His frame became weaker and weaker by the second.
Watching the purple mech start to walks towards the exit of the room. Other Cybertronian Decepticons now seen standing by, watching him. Following his lead when he walked away in the continuing search of Ultra Magnus.
The room soon empty, the green mech still having some form of life in himself. In his optics through his systems he sees he’s growing low on energon. Only enough to keep him in a coma and alive until he can reawake with more energon in his systems, but he had to move quickly. For a moment everything went black. His frame still. GASP! His frame rises with a sudden jolt. Rising his upper frame the best he can, he turns to his side with the remaining strength he has.
Silently but quickly, he starts to crawl his way to the escape pod.
Though not quick enough, he did it quietly enough to make it. Trying to steady himself despite bleeding out. He presses a few buttons next to the door of the escape pod. With the door opening silently, the mech crawls with all his might on his elbows. The large line of blood continued to follow him inside.
Forcing himself to take a quick small breather, his cervo reaches up again. Reaching for the screen inside the pod next to the inside door. Pressing in the quadrants to escape, the screen flashing red.
Things intensified for his spark with the ship shaking more violently. He groans in pain, feeling the dizziness grow stronger in him but he wasn’t out for the count yet. His optics widening in thought a moment. He types in a new location to take where he can possibly be saved. The screen flashing green. He leans more against the wall under the control screen. Optics closing for a moment in relief while the escape pod started up.
Slumping against the chair beneath him in the moment of hope in his spark. The pod meanwhile starts, a femme voice heard over the pod and a holographic map appears in front of him. Showing his targeted location. How long it’ll take along with the damage added to the pod.
He watches, the small hope remaining in his spark.
Thanks to the escape pods protection, he was able to barely feel the sudden blast of the escape or blasting into space from inside the ship. The sound was heard from inside the ship.
The sound heard by the purple mech. His bloody optics sharpen at the direction of the sound. Turning suddenly towards the sound.
Causing his large chassis and smack at another Decepticons faceplate who walked behind him suddenly, causing the poor mech to almost fly back onto his aft. Avoiding the purple mech from stomping onto him. He quickly makes his way over back into the room with heavy and fast stomps now.
His optics widening more towards the now empty pod. A growl leaves through the side of his mask running to the glass window at the side wall.
Slamming his fist against the wall next to the window. Yelling at the window in a scarier, deeper voice. Making more cracks into the wall with the same fist into the same spot. His frame and optics filled with rage over his escaped victim. “WRECKER!! WRECKER!! K-” He continues to yell. He and the ship slowly growing smaller, the escape pod moving fast away from the ship. Seen through the window of the pod for the green mech. Another smile creeps onto the green mechs dermas.
“See ya,...in the next one.”
His one good optic slowly starts to become tired. Closing against his will before darkness finally took over. Bringing him to his coma after so much strength used to escape. With his optics closed, his frame and system turns to hibernation for the time being, one hopes it’ll be temporary.
“Please..Don’t forget about my hope. Even when he aren’t on the same planet anymore.” A male voice spoke.

Earth - Thursday 2:15 AM MT Criton City
Quiet, peaceful, and rarely thought of. That was the city of Criton and that was the life of a person.someones who’s life will help change ones over. Even her own rather it’s for the better, or worse for herself..
BEEP BEEP…..BEEP BEEP….BEEP BEE-
A soft slam of a hand turns off an alarm within a small but livable apartment. The alarm a bit old fashioned, something you’d find at a thrift store. The room was dark, very dim with blankets over the window on the same wall as the headboard. Causing a small amount of sunlight to peak through. Mainly through the corners and top the window. The light being the city lights and from the apartment complex. The alarm sitting on a black dresser. Next to it being a dresser turned to its side thanks to the smallness of the room.
The room was a rectangle shaped berthroom, aka her whole apartment. The rest of the room pretty empty. No closet seen. Just another dresser next to the other. Next to it, a small kitchen with enough room for basic needs. At the end of the bed with a few inches of space places a restroom with enough room for living and need as well.
Next to the small kitchen placed is a door, next to it on the other wall, with the only room left thanks to the restroom is another door placed in the middle. Creating enough room between the two doors if opened at the same time. For many it’s not ordinary, but for some. A scooter sitting next to the door in the middle. It was enough. Such as for the person gently moving in the twin sized bed to create enough space in the middle of the bedroom apartment.
Sitting up the young woman both groggy and slightly frustrated, rises from her awakened state in bed, her hair slightly messy and likely tangled. Wearing tight-loose clothing around her body for better sleep and getting ready for bed.
Sitting up, the young woman in her early 20’s stretches her arms up over her head. A large yawn escaping her with a few soft cracks escaping her lower back in the stretch. Her hand moving the cover off her lap. Turning from her seated spot to face the other dressers. Her legs moving off the bed to the edge. Reaching for a lamp behind the alarm clock.
Being a young woman, she showed a warm skin tone with long wavy silk brown hair and feminine features. Being of hispanic and indian heritage. Her eyes serious but gentle.
She looks around her area with tired eyes. Blinking gently from the lamps bright light nearly next to her face. Her chest gently rising to the usual routine she’s apart to start or the early morning. Standing up at last, yawning again. Her steps silent towards the closed door of the restroom. Her bag with a few pins seen sitting on the floor between her restroom and end of her bed is seen when her dark blue socks on her feet pass by.
Opening her door, she flicks the light inside on.
Staring at herself in the mirror, taking in her own appearance. Taking a deep breath, she turns on the fosset. getting started for her day. Combing her hair, washing her face, plucking her eyebrows, tying her hair back with the bangs still out for a bit of style. Putting on her earrings and necklace in order to add some style.
Fixing her appearance in a short amount of the time. Leaving the restroom, turning off the light on her way out. She starts to open her dressers and take out clothing to better change into to look more proper for the day.
After doing a quick change that’s both presentable and fits in, she picks up her bag. Tossing it over her shoulder. She returns to the lap. Picking up the phone next to her alarm clock. Checking the time, barely 2:35. Plenty of time. Glancing down at the messages, a few from last night. One but he name Launa and Cletus. All from 6 pm yesterday.
Staring for a moment, “I can answer later.”
She turns off her phone, placing it into her back pocket before then turning off the light. Walking to her front door, she picks up the scooter. Holding it with easiness at her side. Making sure it’s tilted up so it doesn’t hit or bump anything. Turning the door nob, she’s greeted by the hallway light of the apartment.
Casting a light that short lived in for the small berthroom. The door closing with a soft click. Locking the door with her key, she makes her way down the hall, making multiple turns down the hall past many doors with quiet steps.
Finally reaching a door at the end of the hall in almost a minute. Opening the door quiet too, she makes her way out towards the stairway in the area of the floor in the building. Choosing to take the stairs over the elevator.passing through the door down the stairs she makes it to the main lobby/head of the apartment. The light on, a young woman filing her nails was at the desk by the entrance sits for her night shift.
She notices the woman, giving a small nod of acknowledgement.
The woman doing the same towards her. Walking through the front door out to the inside complex of the apartment. The outside was safe a spacious. Some would say who lived there are well off. But she only is thanks to someone she trusted. A soft sigh passing her lips, no cold breath seen. It was getting hotter in the city.
Unfolding her scooter she turns it on by the button at the head of it, the speed set and ready. Stepping on, she makes her way off the apartment complex.
She makes her way out into the city in the dark night. The city lights on making light for her on the side walk. Her scooters headlights on to create a better sight for light. Passing through a few neighborhoods as short cuts to her destination. The houses welcoming and family like. At least to her. Driving by she sees a few people walk out alone or with family wife or husband watching them leave for work. Others leaving their garage, different jobs and different lives.
She continued to look forward, her helmet held on tightly against the cold wind.
The ride was cold and long, almost 20 minutes, but even though her clothes could barely be considered a jacket. It didn’t seem to bother her as much. During the long scooter drive billboards and posters are seen throughout the city. Posters on walls and so on. All containing history and ads about the past involving the alien race.
Not all of them. But most of the to either scare or encourage others about and/or against the Cybertronian alien species. The sight is both nostalgic but also makes her dread her future at the same time.
One in particular, captains reading “They could come back for more.” In a way, she hoped they would. Just to feel one thing. Just because, if it does come back. Maybe she will relive that feeling. Still dark out she makes it to a campus with a large building and a few others separate and a few connected. A gate around the area keeps it isolated from its surroundings. Helping it be seen thanks to the lights on the campus.
Walking through the gates using her code, she makes her ways towards the front doors.
She locks up her scooter next to the front doors on the wall for students with scooters. Locking it in with her key and does a gentle pull to check its hold. Other students with early morning classes start to enter through the door behind her. She stayed quiet, greeted no one and no one greeted her.
Class was long, the usual for third year students. Sitting at the way back, her computer and notebook out for the class. Waiting for it to start in a couple minutes. Turning on her phone, she looks over the message.
In her chest she feels it sink deeply, mainly by the one under Luana. Letting out a deep sigh she looks over the messages under the name Cletus. Reading those messages instead. “Small meeting tomorrow at 6 pm. We have a big client. Don’t be late.” She gently whispered to herself. Opening the message, she sends a check mark to the chat. Letting the person know she’ll be there, sharp. Turning off her phone, class starts a minute sooner. Everyone in class, even the teacher.
The class was long, filled with so much information enough to make a person become dizzy.
The room filled with typing and speaking by the teacher. But every now and then she’d glance out the window to her left, the left wall of the class having a few large windows. Showing the dark sky still remains outside. Sighing to herself softly, she knew the day ill just continue.
Once the clock hit 4:30 am. The class was very long. She finished her small summary of today's class discussion and notes she fet was important to add. Both casually and fast. Getting her things together. She’s one of the first to turn in her paper. Her backpack thrown over her shoulder. Walking out the doors with quietness to not disturb the other students taking their time before their next class or before they leave the campus grounds.
She starts to make her way to her net class, same as the last one on the way back. 5 am. Her head leaning on her hand, elbow against the desk. The same thing again in her class after 6:30 AM again.
Walking out alongside other students, she rubbed her eyes tired.
Struggling to understand herself on how she couldn't be use to this already. Fixing her bangs while walking down the halls by a few others going down the same direction. Reaching the campus cafeteria. Grabbing a good tray of food, she takes a spot far away from the others. Trying to isolate herself the best way she only knows how.
Taking out her computer and main notebook. She starts on finishing homework and other assignments to turn in for the morning, eating her food slowly during her moment alone.
After doing a few she was able to finish them a few days before they were finished not caring what that could mean for her to the teachers. Looking more tired and over the whole work she needs to complete in order to finish the year. Putting her stuff back together and cleaning her area. She picks up her things. Making her way to the exit when the cafeteria starts to get louder and louder in the big space. After all, seen out the windows of the room. It was bright day light now.
Checking her phone once on her scooter. It was barely 10 am.
Anyone else would’ve finished those assignments at 6 pm the same day. The thought almost made her laugh. But it wasn’t anything she liked to think a lot about. Walking out the front door past others walking in, she gets on her scooter and starts making her way back to her apartment.
The city is so much more alive being almost noon. Going down the same route as usual. At homes moms and dads hanging out together in the neighborhood with their younger children. Other people who do work in afternoons and overnights out living their lives or sleeping during the day. Even the neighborhood of her apartment complex was filled with plenty of people who didn’t work at this time. But she had to be more cautious. More cars driving by in the bright morning.
The morning was alive and booming. But she never felt like she’d have room for such time. Or maybe just didn’t let herself. She doesn’t truly know.
Not like she was in a rush to find out.
The young woman steps into the apartment building with her hair down and scooter folded, passing others living in the area along with her.
A femboyant man with a beard with highlights and a warm red lipstick that made him look like a model sits at the once empty desk from his earlier morning.filing his natural long nails behind the desk before noticing her. His small frown turned into a warm smile at the sight of her. Recognizing her easily.
“Hi darling, you coming back to catch up on sleep for the day from that important school of yours.”
He questioned gently. The others walked by paying the two no mind, the woman stepping closer to her usual demeanor since waking up. “You know it, Mr. G, did I get any mail while I was out?” The man chuckled. “Dear it’s almost 11 am, ain’t no mail comin’ yet.” He reminded her. Going to filing his nails and waving at a man passing he finds cute. Looking back at her when she was about to walk off.
“You better be going to sleep, I see them dark circles honey.” He gently called out, though it had a bit of a scolding tone to it. The young woman gently chuckled to herself. “Yes, Mr. G.” She responded.
Mr. G continues to watch her head to the stairway towards where she can reach to her floor. He waves her away playfully. “Mm, mm that girl ain’t goin’ places with that schedule." He gently chuckled to himself. Throwing his legs over the desk. Unlocking her door, she walks inside her dark berthroom.
The darkness making her feel safe, but also nervous in a strange way, she doesn’t turn on the light.
Her scooter is next to the door. Her backpack back on the same spot this morning. Closing the front door, opening the door next to it, revealing a large garage. It was spacious. Being a large 20 x 25 feet garage with a large door at one end with a couple windows above the door. Under the door connecting down to the ground. The side connected to the wall was the stairway down. Right under it and the door was a small area for her desk and a few other things for protection and work with blueprints and such.
It was more colorful, having a blue hue and a few posters of classic films and even history of Cybertronians on the walls, though only at parts she can reach.
Seen also in the room being a 3D printer and a couple other bags for her own use. A regular backpack and a cross body bag, both used for work. Personal she would add. The desk was more colorful too. Making her way down stairs a more genuine smile creeps onto her lips.
Her dark bags under her eyes seem to lighten a moment for you at the sight of her area.
The area had plenty of space, and she planned to use it like she always did. Sitting in her chair she picks up her bag, getting to work on her own blueprints and a little robot of her own making.
Writing down in her notes and fixing some errors in her coding on her computer connected to the robot after being on her desk for some time. Able to finish make the small robot, one details and molded to looking like a chibi Cybertronian. Though detailed in her own way it was still flexible enough to be used like a fighter bot. Smiling again to herself with satisfaction. With excitement she stands from her chair. “Yessssss.”
She said softly to herself in pure excitement. Almost jumping at the sight of her small robot.
“Lets go!” She exclaims in a deeper voice of excitement. Punching her fists in the air with excitement. She then checks her phone, “Barely 3:40. I got time.” She said in a soft tone. She returns to her chair. Setting it to recline up and the back of the chair placed back for someone to lay down.
Grabbing a blanket on the side of her desk she takes off her shoes, getting comfortable on the laid out chair. Getting on her side with the blanket large enough to drape far enough off the chair to touch the floor. Setting an alarm on her phone, she gets comfortable, at least an hour of sleep. Closing her eyes, she sighs in the welcoming peace. Music playing on her plugged in phone to help her sleep better.
Falling asleep within seconds.
The darkness now calm, reminding her of the good times with those she loves. Within those same seconds, she started to dream again. Gentle laughter heard, a young child voice. Her own voice heard beneath the bright blue sky in a large backyard with grass and a small playground.
The young her giggled. Running across the yard as an older man with more indigenous feathers, her father playfully chases her with a happy smile.
She continued to cheer, an older man with wrinkles and a hat sits at the porch of the yard with a can beneath both his hands. Both showing years of hard work labor from his youth. Her father was able to catch her before she fell after tripping on a rock. Throwing her up gently with a gentle catch to make her laugh more. His strength gently throws her up in the air and even holding her to fly across the yard. Her little arms out her sides. “Weeeeeeeee!”
Her father and grandfather laugh with her. Birds and the sound of the city heard from afar, but in the background. All that can be seen were mountains and trees from behind the walls for the yard. Inside the house, a silhouette of a woman through the curtains back inside is seen of the phone. Her back to the window, the call serious to her.
After playing for some time, sirens suddenly went off in the area. The city too.
Her grandfather quickly stands up, her father holding her closely to him nw at the sudden sound. The three of them looked around confused and worried. The little girl seeming the most frightened with her small hands gripping her dads shirt and hiding her face.
She was only four years old.
Her grandfather takes a step down the stairs of the porch. His hand holding one caine and the other reaching towards the two. “Mijo, my son get inside now! Mija hurry!” He calls out in worry. Little her looked around confused as her dad carried her in his arms. She looked up at the sky. Flying machines seen in the large space of the sky. People heard screaming from afar.
Her child self looks away from her dads shoulders. Watching her grandfather start to try to open the door. “It’s locked!” He exclaimed.
“What!?” Her father panicked, handing her to his dad. She and the old man watch him try to open the door. Trying his best to force it open with his strength “Luan! Unlock the door! The Decepticons could be attacking!!” He bangs on the door, the sirens become louder. Screams and yellowing become louder. The sound of destruction and a strange language heard from afar belonging to a robotic voice.
Little her starts to cover her ears from the sound.
Her abuelo presses her head to his shoulder to shield her the best he can. “It’s okay Mija, it’ll be okay.” He whispered softly to her to keep her calm the best he can. The door continued to not open, her father panicking more when they started to hear a harsh thud on the ground close by. The Decepticons were very close.
He reaches for his dads hand, making the man drop his cane. Leading the two towards the underground shelter bunk at the middle of the yard.
The three a second to the doors on the ground until a large Cybertronian with a Decepticon insignia on its for forhelm roars at them with sharp teeth and dark green optics. Standing high with the underground door between his pedes. Looking down at them when he releases a deep and dark chuckle. His claws sharp instead of cervos like the autobots. Her grandfather holds her closer and tightly to shield her from the beast before them. Her father getting in front of them. “Just try to ugly!”
Her father challenged. Arms out to shield the two.
The mech chuckled, flicking the father away with a casual digit. She and her abuelo screamed in fear when her father flew, his back hitting the yards wall harshly. Harsh enough to leave a crack in the bricks. The older man looked back at the Cybertronian. “Get away from us! She’s just a child! I- I’m too old! We are no threat” her grandfather tried to plead.
The Cybertronian looked back at the two. His cervo then grabbing the man, his other reaching for her to take her away. Yelling in fear for her sake and safety. Everything too intense for her causing tears to fall down from her eyes. The Cybertronian reaches suddenly, two digits wrapping around her small form pulling her away from her grandfather's grasp. Making his gasp and reaching for her. His hat falling fall when he tried to jump for her.
Her grandfather continued to call for her in a crying tone. His own tears falling down his cheeks. “Abuelo!!!” She called out to him through her cries.
Her tears seeming to never end. The large Cybertronian then spoke into his comms in their Cybertronian language. Still calling out which seemed to start to annoy the mech. Everything slowly fading into the white light around her. The last thing she sees is her smaller hands reaching for her abuelo who tripped onto the grass by the same rock.
Not stopping to call for her on his knees.
Hearing the faint sound of his cries towards her fade from her mind. Now replaced with the sound of her alarm. She gasps awake from the chair. Looking around confused for a moment. Her heart racing and hair falling around her face. Turning off her alarm when her heart started to slow down. Taking a deep breath like she learned to make a habit many years ago. Sitting up from her short nap. Moving her chair to normal again. She gets off the chair to do a big stretch. Her back popping a few times.
Picking up her phone, no new messages. Casually putting her phone in her back pocket, grabbing her keys. Opening a cabinet next to her desk, taking out another backpack filled with robotic stuff for where she’s going.
Grabbing her computer for this job and the little robot she was working on earlier.
Heading back upstairs she makes her way back upstairs with the bag on her back. Going back to her restroom to fix up her hair and clean herself up. Grabbing a snack from her cabinet and placing it back in her bag to eat later. More happy, excited for where she’s going. Making her way out, it being barely 5.
Her ride on her scooter was long, heading out the city to the mountain. The sun sets a little earlier than most places past 5:30. It became darker for her during her ride up the mountain. A small smile never leaving her lips to her destined place. But when she was there midway her phone suddenly set off. Stopping at the side of the mountain. Walk at a far enough distance behind a good few trees out of sight. Answering the call.
“Hey, the client cancelled last minute and we got a tip police might know about us. Best to head back home before you get caught and questioned, we don’t need one of our bests to get taken now. I’ll text you in the morning once we know what’s up. Good night.”
She looks at the phone in her hand. Her small frown returning at the fact her she won’t be working that night. Placing it back into her pocket. Turning her scooter to start heading back down until a sudden bird chirps close by. Catching her attention. Turning her head just right to see a small glimpse of something shiny and green. Turning her head morejust right. The sight of a green hood seen through the bushes and branches.
Folding up her scooter and carrying it at her side. She walks closer towards the vehicle. The vehicle being a Toyota Pick-Up truck of a fourth generation from years back.
Opening up the hood, its engine looked solid. Like it’s the only thing that didn’t get messed up somehow when looking at the state of the truck is in. Moving around to the side, it has a few off scratches almost as if a bear had scratched at it. Stepping away, she follows the trail created by the truck's wheels going up the mountain.
It goes very high, it would’ve been a bit of a ride down before finally stopping to where it is no. But the odd thing was it stopped suddenly as a pretty steep part of the mountain, plenty of trees and bushes, was part of the trail.
Though she was certain that would be enough to slow it down. She looked at the truck curiously, placing her bag and scooter down to a spot far enough from the truck to be safe. Walking around the back past the back doors to the drivers seat. Looking inside first through the dirty window. It seemed to be sitting for some time. A couple leafs and dirt inside on the seats and floor. Her hand going to the handle, giving it a firm pull.
The door opened with a click. Her small smile creeped back. Opening the door fully, looking over the seats, the wheel, cup holders.
This truck showed much age inside and out. Bits of the leather cut and even scratched up a bit. The truck must have a lot of history, and the seat changed. Along with everything else with the truck. Dusting off the drivers seat with her hand out. She jumps in, sitting up straight, her smile remaining. The potential shining in her eyes.
Leaning back against the seat, a small sigh finally released. Landing on top of the wheel. A grasshopper jumps on appearing suddenly.
She glances at it for a moment. Her eyes drifting back up at the slowly setting sky where pink can be seen instead of blue. She reaches for the Grasshopper without looking, casually tossing it out the truck, closing the door without looking away from the sky, showing no fear. Trying to really feel the inside of the truck. Looking around her area, there doesn’t seem to be any keys for the truck. Stepping out she looks through the back seats then around the floor.
Getting her hands dirty on the ground but finds no keys. Dusting her hands, she picks up her bag and rummages around her tools and notebook. Not having what she needs to fix up the truck. The sun goes down more causing things to become darker. Her sleep now catching back to her. Causing her to feel slightly dizzy from her lack of sleep for the past days. She makes a choice.
“I’ll come in the morning.”
She whispered where only herself can hear it. Her hand placed on the hood like a silent promise. Heading back to the side walk, she opens her scooter and makes her way back to her apartment in a small rush.
The sun lowered completely when she made it back into the city. The city lights turning on and people seen partying. Mainly college students who didn’t have classes the next morning.Much like her not having any classes the next day. Going through her door. She walks to her bed, not bothering to turn on the lights or change much like the night before. The alarm clock showing the time, almost 7 pm now.
The routine autopilot for her. Plopping onto her bed on her side, shoes off. Her usual expression from this very morning returned now for the night. The small moments of happiness gone. Curling in her sheets and hugging her pillow under her head with one arm.
Staring at her set alarm for the morning. Slowly closing her eyes. Both feeling exhausted and somehow wide awake. Her sleep doesn’t take ver right away. She laid there for an hour in the darkness, no music or comforting environment for her. The cold and even scary feeling creeping and remaining in her body despite the warm blanket meant to make her safe.
The feeling always lurking. The only thing keeping her awake.
—-----------------------------------------
BEEP BEEP…..BEEP BEEP….BEEP BEE-
A groan leaves her lips under the covers from being forced awake. Sitting up quickly remembering what she had planned. No classes or work as far as she knows. Getting out of bed she quickly turns on her lights for the room for the first time in months.
Getting dressed and freshening up for her day a little longer for the day unlike the day before. Her smile showing up on her face for the first time in the morning of the year after a long time. Styling her hair more over her shoulders and curled her bangs. Now with her usual jewelry and a more casual but stylish outfit, she starts her ride back into the mountain with her bag again with the right things this time for the truck.
Walking through the trees towards the truck. Seeing it was still at the same spot from last night. Opening the trunk, she gets to work with an open bag next to her feet. Getting the engine back on track before moving to the tires and uses what she has to tighten the tires both front and back.
After a couple hours, the sun fully up, already past 7 AM.
Satisfied with how the engine was looking. Moving to the drivers seat, she takes out a screw driver with a thin line at the small tip for smaller screws. Jabbing the tip in between the line around the key hole.
Taking it out until she sees the turning course where the key touches to turn on the truck. Setting the extra piece on the other seat now. She takes out another screw driver and places it in. The end a bit thicker to better turn the key hole. Turning it just right, the engine starting with a loud but easy boom at the back. The truck moving from the shakingness of the engine. At first waiting a moment, then happy surprise right as the sun fully rise.
“YES YES YES!!!!” She cheered with excitement.trying her best not to punch the wheel during her excitement. Jumping in her seat in excitement. Take that Veenesa! HA!” She throws her fist in the air in triumph. Returning to the truck. She looks over the rest of the backseats before back at the front.
The screw drivers remained in place, turning on to drive. She starts her way back to the road on the mountain.
Luckily no one was around at 9 in the morning. The drive was a bit bumpy, the belt a bit loose when she would suddenly move forward then side to side. She starts her drive back to her apartment. Getting to her garage at the apartment complex. Pressing a button on her keys. Opening her garage once close enough. Driving in then closing it once she’s parked in just right. As the garage closes, her smile never leaving her face.
She jumps out, closing the door before she walks over to her desk and starts to sketch in her graph notebook, bringing her wheeled chair closer to the parked truck.
Sketching what she can add along with fix and what she’ll need to buy in order to put it back together. Sitting in her chair in a more that’s more comfortable for her. Music playing fro her phone pays to hel set the mood for her. After spending time on the notebook for a few minutes (45 minutes) she finally stands up.
Her pen dangling between her lips in deep thought when looking down at her sketches and notes. Adding together everything she’ll have to get.
Setting the notebook on the chair she makes her way back to the truck. Opening the engine to see what else she needed to fix. After getting her hands a bit dirty she ties her hair up and moves under the truck with her tools. Working around the engine and what she sees from under. Tinkering around, unknowing to her, the vehicle was already alive thanks to a small headlight flicker…
After some time she was on her back under the truck. Working on what needed some fixing with tools from her bag for special fixings and works like this. “That was a terrible idea.” She added as she moved from under the truck. Her lower back on the right was hurting her thanks to years of anxiety and constant moving. Her hand pressing against her lower back standing back up she makes her way back to her desk.
Bringing her chair with her to look over her notes and older notes time ago with similar ideas and tools she can use. She stands up after feeling happy with her work so far under the truck. Everything looking correct almost as if it was new.
Smiling down at the hood, her hand gently pats the hood again in a silent promise.
“With a few more screws and adjusting of your oil pipe. We will have you back and running like the old days.” She added. Getting to work when the headlights and what ever else needed fixing. Hours passing, her phone not going off once. The day living and passing just outside her garage. Knowing full well no one will come and bother her once unless it’s work or school.
It was a life, but one she’s come to accept. Checking her amount from her jobs she make a few trips towards to the stores. Going through her apartment out into the city on her scooter.
Going to a few stores and buying what she can without over spending. Making her way back to her apartment room with lots of bags at her arms. Needing to go through her garage which was a bit more of a walk. Walking inside, nothing’s seemed to have changed though when she stepped closer to her desk she noticed her notebook was slightly moved. But she shakes her head. Probably just not remembering right is all.
Setting her things down on the desk, she looks things over. Making sure she has everything when the garage door fully closes.
Taking out a few objects and others on the rest of her desk. Putting away the bags and organizing everything she bought for the truck now. Checking her phone, still no messages or anything yet involving her job. Setting her alarm for later, she sets her phone down back on the desk.
Turning her chair to recline again like a skinny bed. In some indescribable way, she wanted to be close by the truck right now, like electricity needing to remain.
Getting comfortable with her blanket again. Facing the truck with a gentle smile, she seemed so at peace. Things were coming together and to her. The truck was a good sign for her. Music playing on her phone again plugged in. Her eyes slowly closing, sleep taking her over faster now like yesterday. Unlike last night before. Peace with the music calming her again in her safe space of her home.
“Mija, no matter how much the world hurts you. You alive because you are meant to be. Just like I…and Them.”
Gasping awake. She sits up by a sudden sound causing her to jolt awake, looking around. She doesn’t notice the truck was slightly tilted at its original spot. Moving her legs at the edge of the chair. She realizes her phone was ringing. Picking it up she quickly answered it.
“Cletus! Hope you weren’t waiting long. I was uh-” She started, but the voice on the other end stopped her. Releasing a soft chuckle on the other end.
“No worries. I understand you got a bit of a messy schedule of your own. The client reached back. We’re having a meeting now at 7 today. That should give you about an hour in a half now. Make sure to come a little early. You’ll get a bonus if you make our client happy like with the last one. Stay safe out there.” The line ends.
Definitely got that amount of time to get there. Looking back at the truck. She thinks to herself. An idea creeping to her mind causing her smirk to grow not.
Taking out another screwdriver she gets to work fast to taking out the key hole on the drivers side. Not noticing the small rattle of the truck when she wasn’t looking. Doing a bit of practice on the lock with any tools of her own. She finally fins the perfect screw and changing the shape with some strong pliers to do a bit of reshaping. Locking and unlocking the lock for the door. It came together very easily. A bit of DIY helping her get it to work well.
Her eyes shinning more in the excitement. This was just the very start of her very first truck. The drive up the mountain was easier, safer even. Faster in way that was completely foreign to her now. His smile creeping higher up her cheeks but still controlling herself to not look too crazy.
Getting there quicker then she would have if she left even earlier than she usually would.
Pulling up towards a gas station, a few others are seen at the station. Some watched the sunset. Others just leave or arrive like her. She pulls up close to the door, setting the truck to park. Stepping out, she uses her secret weapon to lock the door. Others definitely notice the large smile on her lips but don’t pay her any mind. Though most did know who she was and why she was here, the same as the rest of them.
Her bag over her shoulder, she makes her way over to the front where a man with arms crossed waits. When he notices her, he smiles with a friendly wave.
“Hey, you came early just like I knew you would!” He greeted. Holding his hand out towards her in a friendly greeting. Once she was close enough she side high fived his hand once close enough. The two walking together inside with a few others following behind. All with important business to go through.
Work starting in just a few minutes.
Staying close to the man, they walk through a special door with a secret elevator. She, the man and a few others who can fit in walk in together to head to the underground of the building. Giving a small and sient exhale without anyone noticing it. The elevator remained closed for some time. A full minute passing when it finally ding to its destination. Opening they’re all greeted by the sight of a large underground area of robot fights and unique machines all around.
Stepping forward, she and the man walked together through the many desks and fighting arenas so many were surrounding and cheering for. The two walking through as if they owned the place.
“Vern, is Cletus speaking to the special client?’ She asked curiously. Looking up at Vern. Looking back at her, he looked over the area a moment before responding with a firm line. “He is, he’ll come find you after their meeting. He recommended you and a couple others but the client liked most of your work. So be prepared.”
Vern gives her a small nod before leaving to greet the others back up the surface. Sitting in her chair at a more higher level of the place up a couple stairways. She starts to set up her desk.
Taking out her computor and little robot from yesterday she was suppose to bring in for better research and to make a few extra bucks in work. Getting to typing on her computor and connecting it to the robot to try to get it moving and working like yesterday everything going according to plan. Others passing and doing their own thing at their own area. Ignoring the cheers and yelling during the made robot fights a few feet away from her at the main area of the floor.
Meanwhile, outside back at the parking lot.
The truck remained in the quiet and dark night. Everyone back inside the station after an hour passing now. The sun fully down and only birds heard close by. Noticing the surrounding the stations camera starts to glitch close by where the truck was. Only replaying the same footage with the truck on the camera.
Noticing a few trees moving from afar towards the direction of the area. The trucks headlights turning on, pulling back fro the parked spot, the truck starts to drive towards the forest, causing the moving trees to stop.
Heading to the side now. The truck driving deeper into t he forest now. The truck continued under all that was seen behind it was trees blocking the light. The only form of light present now was the light from the moon. Driving deeper to a more open spaced and secluded area for two robots to stand and walk around. The truck continues slowly knowing whoever is in the trees and watching it and waiting very patiently….Until
“Clever Girl.” Four pairs of red optics having shown itself in the shadows behind a few trees. Moving closer. The Cybertronian launches at the mech before the truck can fully speak its first word. Mid transforming from the attack being tackled down the mountain hitting a few trees with his back along the way. Being the very same green mech before
The two landing finally not too far from the station but far enough to not be heard or seen.
The green mech stands, holding his side with his other cervo held up towards Transit in a plea sort of way to mean no harm. “When are you going to stop Transit? All ‘cause I left you to live?” The mech questioned almost mockingly.
The other mech, Transit, growled. Standing up, Transit snarled towards the green mech. “I came with a mission, I may not have been able to find you after our tossle the other morning but I plan to fix that” The two start to circle each other slowly in the forest in the open area. Transit opening his cervos to show his claws. The mech on the other cervo kept his cervos up in fists now in a fighting stance. Both having years of experience in fighting each other even before. The mech continued.
“But I will not go back with an empty cervoed. Your helm should do for a nice trophy to get a BETTER REWARD!” He stated plainly, launching at the mech suddenly at the end. Thinking fast with a grunt. The mech is able to easily catch his wrists and do a small spin. Soon throwing Transit into the ground in front of him.
The fight was intense, the green mech still injured and mainly sore from his injuries. Transit noticed this and continued to stab at the mech's side.
Able to get Transit on his back now, using both cervos to try to stop both of Transits cervos from doing more damage to his frame the best he can. The green mech pins Transit down into the dirt and grass beneath him. Thinking fast, Transit kicks the Cybertronian at the side. Making the green mech fly into another tree with a thud, making Transit slide on the dirt creating a line. Transit quicky turning on his side to all fours.
Reaching for a branch as Transit launches at the mech again only to be slapped by the branch into the ground again.
The green mech then starts beating at the Cybertronian without showing any sign of slowing down. Transit letting out yelps and whimpers of pain and green blood start to show on the branch. After what felt like more than a couple seconds.
The mech on top Transit and started to beat at the helpless mech.
Remembering the other wreckers he’s been with for many years. He can’t go back, not just yet. Familiar with Transit. He new he had to put a stop. No matter what. The green mechs mind starts to flash his memories at the thought of his new goal. One of the wreckers holds his little sparkling in his arms and another with his sparkmate at their union celebrations.
The green mech closes his optics, letting his fists continue beating on the mech beneath him thanks to the years of year he had to endure and the action far too familiar but the only right to him during these times. Letting time fly past him for a moment. Maybe a little too long…..After what was only a full minute, his fists start to slow down. Drenched and bruised with thick green blood going as far up his wrists and lower arms.
Finally taking a breather again after the minute. Sitting more against the unmoving frame beneath him. His chassis heaving slowly from what he just did. What he has just done.
This wasn’t what he wanted while trying to keep it on the down low. His palms facing him now, all blooded up and shaking gently from the sudden death by his own cervos. Bloody slowly dripping down. Looking down at the bloody and dead frame beneath him now of Transit.
The very mech he has fought for years since the beginning of this war. Fully realizing what he did now sets in completely.
Only a hint of remorse pleasant in his optics. The feeling so familiar and almost numb to this point despite so many years of this happening. Closing his optics for a moment in respect, but only for a second to also calm his nerves. Standing off the corpse. He looks around. There has to be a spot to hide his corpse. Moving a few things of dirt around, drags the corpse into the deep hole he was able to make despite his soreness and pain across his frame.
Burying Transit into the ground and tossing dirt over him. Only stopping once his frame was completely gone. Sighing to himself after the rush and slowness placed next to each other.
The green mech looks back at the direction of the gas station.
He cleans himself up the best he can. Making his way back up the mountain. Back at the underground, the young woman can be seen speaking to a wealthy well off man with a fancy hat standing next to her desk. Looking at her small robot. He was impressed and had a smile on his lips when he looked down at her. Being well off 6’4. A few men behind him in black but a little casual and loose to move much if needed to.
“So will you work on my little project? I promise to pay handsomely if you do well.” He stated firmly. A hint of a smile in his tone. Voice smooth and deep for a man in his mid 30’s. Holding his hand with a few large wings open for a handshake towards her.
Looking at his hand then back up at him, his words are still very serious. Her hand rises out, reaching without hesitation. She shakes his hand with a small smile. Her eyes gentle, relaxed like she was happy with what she was doing. “Yes sir, happy to do business with a real man of business like you.”
She winked playfully. Casually.
The man chuckled deeply at her words. Loving her little personality. Releasing each others hands, the same one tips his hat towards her. “I’ll be in touch with your boss. Until then my dear.
He finishes off, he and his men making their way back to the exit where the elevator is to leave for the night. She and Vern watch him silently until they disappeared into the elevator. After a solid few seconds. The two let out a sigh of relief from the small business meeting between them. The entire meting was tense. Though to others it wouldn’t seem it during it for both her and Vern with what the man wanted.
Walking out together, she and Vern walk out the front door as others start to leave during the night after finishing some work and deals in order to get paid just as much as she. Reaching the truck, she takes out her screw driver and unlocks the drivers door key, vern watching curiously and both impressed.
Opening the door, she hops in with Vern helping close the door while she lowered the window all the way down to continue speaking to him.
“I’ll be sure to text you tomorrow along with Cletus about more of the details. We’ll likely have an odd schedule so make sure you're caught up with those classes of yours yeah?” he said casually and warmly to her. A look that would make any woman's heart flutter. Though not for her. At least not right now, so she thinks. “Thank you, I’ll be sure to answer right away if I’m not too busy or not asleep."
Nodding towards him with a smile. Vern then handing her an envelope with cash in it for her. She taking it into the truck and places it into her bag on the passenger seat. Vern stepped back and waving her off with that usual smile. Starting her engine she pulls back from the parking lot.
Driving back to her apartment with music playing on the radio back home. Driving int he night feeling safer and faster much like when coming over hours earlier. Looking forward both on the road and both about the possible future with this new business deal now with work. Remaining blissfully unaware of what her truck truly is or what he did an hour earlier during her important meeting back inside.
After a few minutes of driving, another idea appears in her head. Making her gasp suddenly the truck almost swerving from her gasp and almost blowing her cover though she just assumes it’s rom her hand on the wheel thanks to her excitement.
“I know! I’ll pay a cousin of mine to remove the seats to replace with new ones! He’ll be cheaper!”
She exclaimed in excitement. Knowing to her, her truck was trying his best not to shake in fear and already thinking of an escape plan to take from the idea that could be very painful for him in his vehicle mode. Once back in the apartment, th garage door closing behind, she jumps out the truck with a small excitement smile on her lips.
Stretching as she walked up the stairway to her door towards her berthroom apartment.
Turning off the light on her way inside, she starts to get comfortable for bed in the late night. Music playing on her phone during her time getting ready for bed with her hair up now for better movement. Meanwhile, the truck in the garage had other plans while she remained away. Not much time left. Transforming in the dark. His green optics open once again in robot form, scanning the area or a moment now in complete height. Being able to stand and move enough in the large garage.
Looking at the garage door, his cervos feel around the door. Trying his best to open it, only able to sit but still small enough in the large space.
Back inside the apartment she worked on her appearance, taking off her remaining make up. After picking up the brush, she finally hears the soft rumbling of the garage door. Looking at the door to the garage for a moment confused trying to understand for a moment until it clicked.
Someone one might be trying to get in.
Possibly to steal her truck!? Tossing the brush aside she runs to the door and opening it quietly to sneak into the dark garage. The large door still shaking, she then flicking her light on with her folded scooter in her hand like a bat.
Both she and the mech freeze, turning towards her slowly. The two stare at each other.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
