About TF:RIF, the up-and-coming Transformers Fan Comic!
Sometimes I forget that Tumblr is a blog site... Hence, there's no better place to update my production notes and spark some hype for TF:RIF! I'm Moth, and here's the beginnings of what I hope will become a community-made fan continuity of the Transformers, Transformers: Reform is Futile!
For the uninformed, TF:RIF is a fan comic that I've begun production on starting two weeks ago, and I've gotten quite a lot already planned out!
-> Following our favourite Decepticons, as well as some who've gotten less attention over the years, Shockwave and Starscream take centre stage following a great tragedy on The Nemesis that leaves every survivor questioning all they've ever known. <-
The story has exclusively redesigned characters, new takes on character developments, and a completely new origin story for our beloved 'Cons!
The TF community has breathed new life with the release of Transformers: One, and I'm hoping that these inspired new sparks want to get in on creating something special! Without further adieu,
-> The story already has a timeline of events--beginning, middle and end. This includes key plot points, character motivations, and a plot twist~
-> Begun work on the redesigns of our protagonists. The full cast of TF:RIF is going to be redesign-focused.
-> The script of the comic is already in the making.
What to expect? (This part's the cool part ;^] )
The prologue of the story, the catalyst, the big stir of the comic is going to be drawn, coloured, and published by me, someplace in the near future!! Or rather: Get hype for a whole issue of TF:RIF!
I intend to build hype for the comic and show the public what this comic can one day become, and I'll be very open about the production process here on Tumblr. If you've read up to here, thank you very much for your interest, this comic's for all of you!! A big love letter to the TF community.
