In this fan continuity the turtles don't live in Newyork City, but in Miami Florida.

I wanted to play with the idea of the turtles living in a different more tropical area, diffrent city culture, the everglades and other diffrent locations near by.

Woke up thinking deeply about Hook. More specifically, Hook's tastes.

I find it so hard to decide what kind of music he should listen to or how he would dance (because we ALL agree he dances).

I mean, considering his personality, it would be easy to say he listens to classical, elitist music (Cybertronian, of course) and that his dance style resembles a waltz or any other type of ballroom dance.

But that's so... predictable to me. I just think that the guy who goes out wearing one shoe should be allowed to be a bit tacky sometimes. It isn't like he's canonically upper-class, like, let's say, G1 Mirage.

So, I've been mulling over this for actual years, because nothing is just tacky enough while still being believably something Hook would do and be proud of his ability to do well, until yesterday. While watching the "A Lot of Livin' To Do" dance sequence from Bye Bye, Birdie (1963), something began forming in my mind, and today, I woke up in a cold sweat and went looking for John Travolta's dance sequence from Saturday Night Fever (1977). Then I realized... Hook dancing disco.

Think about it... the diligence needed to learn the moves, the ability required to execute them, the sense of rhythm you must have... And the confidence to dance disco is in the first place.

That, and he could challenge Ratchet, the party ambulance, to a battle of wits and moves and actually stand a chance. Think about it.

Edit: Also, any dance where you don't have to touch is right up Hook's alley. While I think BONECRUSHER would be more inclined to dance ballroom dances... Like forró (SELF-INDULGENT).

BONUS:

I have lost the battle of wills. What will I even call this continuity. Transformers: Repose? Yeah I'll call it that sure.

I have an idea for a comic for Shockwave's backstory but he's not very divergent when it comes to his personality: Ruthless, calculating and largely emotionless. She has done the calculations and come to the conclusion that no matter which side wins it is a losing war.
