In the magical girl AU I like the idea of bumblebee flirting with thundercracker on the battlefield.( I was originally gonna say Skystar but it sounds too complicated for that and I think thunderbee works too lol)

Who will win, one highly motivated magical bot or the burnout idiot barely trying?

They’re not quite at the flirting stage yet, partially bc TC doesn’t always realize he is being spoken too. I have a very specific scene in mind for when bee realizes TC’s disillusionment with the cons but that will come later :3

For your Magical Girl AU, do Hot Rod's friends know that he's a Magical Girl, and they cover for him? Or are they kept in the dark, and Hot Rod has to use every excuse that he knows, to get away from them, when he has to transform? And do those friends keep a growing list of tally marks, for every excuse that he uses?

His identity isn’t a secret! However Arcee and Springer were at work when the matrix chose Hot Rod so they caught the news second hand!

This au does take some of the idea that Prime is kind of a leadership figurehead, bots are invested in who the current Prime is and it can deeply impact their social life. Sentinel took advantage of the spot light, swayed policy to benefit him and always made a show of his appearances. Optimus was reluctant to throw his power around, when reporters nosed into his personal life he decided it was best not to have one, and dedicated himself to his role.

Sparkache thing: Are Tracks or Sunstreaker Magical Bots?

No, there are only a handful of magical bots! Many of the Autobots (and a couple cons) you know and love are actually civilians in this AU. Most of the story takes place in Greater Iacon, one of the few areas of cybertron still habitable after the all spark’s disappearance. Sunstreaker (and Sideswipe) are refugees from Tarn. Sunstreaker does his best to support both of them by using his skill to do detailing for Iacon’s upper class. Tracks is a noble mech from Iacon, he doesn’t entirely realize how lucky he is not to have lost his home. He has potential to do good… he just hasn’t unlocked it yet. (He hasn’t built those friendships yet, so he’s at a very different point in his development than most his canon counterparts)
