Soldat 2 2.5D multiplayer shooter finally releases in Linux gaming, Mac and Windows PC. Thanks to developer Transhuman Design. Which is now live and doing well on Steam, with 88% Positive reviews. Soldat 2 is a crazy 2.5D deathmatch shooter. Thanks to the creation of Michal “MM” Marcinkowski. Hence the famed indie game developer and creator of SOLDAT. The game now releases in Early Access. Due to remain there for the next 24 months. So here we are, after 30 months of “one man army” style development. The sequel releases 18 years after the first one. That's a long flipping time. “Soldat 2 is back in a new, 3D look, but it stays true to its roots with. A high skill ceiling and high speed physics based movement. And all the different weapons combined with ragdoll violence. Besides recreating what made Soldat great. There are new guns, maps, game modes and experimental features. STEAM interviewed MM on the occasion of the Festival: “Soldat 2 is certainly the most difficult game I've ever made. Mostly because of the expectations I put on myself. Similarly, I think if I just did the same thing with a bit more polished graphics and bug fixes. Most people would be happy. But I also never go the easy route. So, there is an enormous amount of pressure I put on myself. I decided Soldat 2 has to be as good as the first one and even better”. - he says.
