Transmasc-ish A transitional label describing an individual who does not fully identify as transmasculine, but may feel some form of connection to the label, may partially identify it, or may feel like they're “almost transmasculine but not quite,” such as an individual who is bigender and considers one of their genders transmasculine in nature, a nonbinary person who is masculine-leaning but does not consider themselves transmasculine for whatever reason they have, or someone who just doesn't think transmasculinity fully describes them or their identity.

these terms do not not referring to individuals who one may perceive as "not trans enough" or "almost a trans person" and should never under any circumstances be used in that manner; this is not a pejorative or an exclusionary label, and doesn't necessarily describe the experience of "almost being trans," though depending on the individual, being "almost trans" can apply. it describes the experience of not quite fitting into a transitional label, or feeling distanced from it, whatever that means to the individual.
