I am so tired of the idea that you need other people's consent to literally just exist in their presence, or to exist at all if you have a 'contradictory' queer identity. I'm sick of the idea that someone with a "normal" label is more qualified than you are to determine whether or not you belong.
If someone is not pushing boundaries, hurting people, saying insensitive shit, being offensive, etc, you have literally no right to exclude them from that space. And if they are doing those things? You exclude them for the harm they cause as an individual, not because they used the wrong words to explain how they feel about their gender/orientation.
If you see someone with a "confusing" identity, you assume good intentions until proven otherwise. It's better to show initial undeserved kindness to a cishet troll/chaser than vitriolic hostility towards an actual queer person looking for community.
If you are "uncomfortable" just because you don't agree with a person's labels/identity, you can kindly fuck off and hang out with the cishets who make a face when they see a visibly trans person in public.
Dude... I just had the most galaxy-brained idea for a transfemmasc flag ever. Literally how has nobody thought of this yet.
(For reference, it's these transfem and transmasc flags combined into a single flag)
tagging @radiomogai because A: I don't know any other flag archivists, and B: I'm very proud of this idea and want to show it off
if you think that intersex people existing within your spaces is 'co-opting' and 'appropriating' your language, you should probably evaluate why you feel that way about intersex people and why you think you're different than your average peri-cis intersexist (hint: you're not).
it's just irritating as an intersex person to be forced into peri-centric standards of what is 'valid' when it comes to my own gender identity. I feel similarly as somebody who's also nonbinary and multigender, since these things have a huge hand in why I identify the way I do, as well. it's honestly pretty exhausting to be seemingly exempt from the average peri-binary person's trans 'activism' when they are part of the reason why more people should include those like me in the first place.
"transfem/transmasc are not gender terms they are terms for where you stand in society"
(^often said to minimize intersex people's "weird" gender identities)
.
as an intersex person i am put into such an othered box i take up space as ""both types"" of trans people, while being ousted from those spaces at the same time.
I face issues on all sides no matter what i do (born inherently out of the norm), and am abandoned by my own community because perisex trans people hardly can handle experiences outside of their norm..
sooooooo, no. it's not as simple as "wether you fit the actual definition of these words or not doesn't matter because i will still categorize you based on your a strict binary of 'afab trans person=tmasc' and 'amab trans person=tfem' and presume all your experiences based on that.. #intersectionality!!^^"

I love you singlets who fit any of these descriptions
I love you plurals who fit any of these descriptions
You are not invading anyone’s space by being yourself. You deserve to be here.
Thank you to all the transgender individuals who chose to live until 2026. <3
That means ALL trans people, btw. Yes, even whatever group of trans people you're thinking about right now! Them too!
