Effective Transition Planning--14 and Beyond

Support and Training for Exceptional Parents (STEP) is presenting a workshop designed for persons with disabilities and their families who are in the process of preparing for transition and professionals involved in the transition planning process. Participants will learn about issues such as your rights and role in transitioning from high school, how to develop an appropriate transition plan, employment, independent living and keys to navigating Social Security, Vocational Rehabilitation and the Medicaid Waiver, among other topics.
