yeah like, i've written trans!steve or trans!stucky fic before and i always try to end it happily (i'm a trans man myself) and i once got called out for being "unrealistic" and like... i get that trans people are treating awfully even to this day, but this is my escapism. let me write a story (or several) in which people like me or happy. telling me that my happiness is unrealistic is really shitty.
