So I've got a copy of this game! And there's an English fan translation patch available! I'm so excited to play it!

TOO BAD I'M GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE A 100-HOUR TECH COURSE TO EVER APPLY THE FUCKING PATCH

.............seriously, the instructions for using the English patch are a fucking nightmare. There are layers within layers.

The first layer of instructions is already three kyubeyfucking pages long, but it assumes you have homebrew capabilities on your Vita. Which means now I need to figure out how the fuck to do THAT on my decade-old PSVITA-1000 model.

This site appears to have instructions on adding homebrew... but it's ANOTHER THREE SEPARATE PAGES of instructions, including the warning that this could potentially RUIN my FUCKING device jesus christ are you people serious

I want to play this game so bad, but IS IT EVEN WORTH IT?

Why do I need to become a software engineer just to play a single goddamn video game in English in this, the year of our Law of Cycles 2024?!?!

UPDATE : Wrigglui Partial English Patch (v0.3)

The new version is out with the whole chapter 3 translated! 

Just drag and drop the new “patch.xp3″ file  into the game folder (and delete the old one) and you’re good to go!

A little warning : Saves files may not be compatible with the new patch, depending on where you saved. But if you saved somewhere before chapter 3 starts, you should be good.

Also, don’t forget that you still need to play the game in japanese local, by either set your local to japanese or run the game with Applocal !

[FE4] Come on, people.

If you’re throwing partially truthful statements around about FE4′s characters and themes, then I’d like to tell you to just play the game and get to know what the game’s characters and themes really are. I have grown weary of the tasteless fire jokes without knowing the background of one of FE’s most complex and best-written antagonists, and I’ve grown weary of people flinging notions of incest around without being aware of how the game even portrays such themes in the first place. (Hint: NOT in a good light.)

There’s a fantastic translation patch that’ll let you enjoy the game’s story and characters to the fullest degree. While the gameplay might be kind of dated, I strongly recommend playing the game and discovering its themes for yourself.

I know it’s definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but I recommend experiencing FE4 all the same for its fantastic story and characters (at least, in my humble opinion).

Un:Birthday Song English Translation - Recruiting Translators + In need of ROM Hacker for BroCon

Hello guys its been a while since I made a sort of update on tumblr. As you probably already know, my full english patch for Re:Birthday Song has been released! Woohoo!  After translating this game, I feel like I might translate the other (plus I got a chunk translated from the trial). This game isn’t as long (kinda short compared to Re:Birth) so I don’t expect it to be a long project. If all goes well it should be released by the end of this year (hopefully). So for now, I’m looking for translators that can help me out with this project. Just send me a PM via here or through my email [email protected]. I typically use dropbox so I’ll have scripts set up there (or with an email provided I can email them directly). 

Lastly, a lot of people have been asking about the Brothers Conflict project as of the past year or two. I apologize for the delay in responses and the lack of updates. I was focusing on my own project foremost and to be honest, I haven’t been able to do much in regards to it. I was initially a translator and have no experience in ROM hacking (since its a PSP game) and we dropped out of contact with our previous one. At most, our scripts were reformatted into a .tbl format. So, I’ll need a ROM hacker to proceed in hacking in the translated scripts. Albeit all the scripts are completed, not fully revised. However, no progress can be made without someone who’s able to insert the translated scripts into the game. So again, just contact me if you can or know someone who can help out with that.

Anyway, I appreciate the support. Sorry for the lack of updates for things, but as you know, these are fan projects so unfortunately setbacks are prone to happen with these sort of things with personal life, ect.
