Here’s to the ace transmen, who worry that it’s actually much more complicated and they aren’t actually ace they just don’t ‘feel like’ sex when transitioning or because their bodies don’t match up. You’re still ace. There’s a difference between being celibate, of not feeling aroused from dysphoria, and not experiencing sexual attraction. Sex repulsion is also not required to be ace.
If you’re on HRT, your increased arousal does not mean anything when it comes to your sexuality. Arousal does not mean attraction. You are not fake if you get aroused more thanks to HRT.
And you don’t have to let people consider you a variety of straight, as if asexuality is just a modifier on sexuality and not a sexuality of its own. No one can tell you how to identify. Not as being men, and not as being ace.
