there have been very few times in their friendship that Shane willingly gave up his hat for Noah to wear (usually Noah has to steal it from him). That time Noah gave himself a really bad haircut because his parents wouldn’t let him get it cut, when Shane was forced to spend a summer away (it was just part of the summer he had to spend with his grandparents in another state but it was this whole dramatic thing to them), and when Noah got his first shot of t and Shane couldn’t be there.
