Exorsexism and Gender Modality
Stop calling me trans. It's perfectly valid if trans best describes who you are, but I'm not trans, I never was, and will never be. I am an isogender, gender-expansive, omni person. tired of playing the exorsexist "either or" game trying to convince my OWN community to acknowledge, respect, and accept my existence. I’m shocked, but not surprised, by the hypocrisy of those among us who erase and marginalize gender-expansive people who live at the intersections of compounded systemic oppression. News flash: you don’t achieve gender-variant liberation by dividing and gatekeeping varsex and gender-expansive people into hierarchies just for existing.
What you get is becoming an easier target for the far-right extremists who ultimately want to erase you—right alongside us.
that “not all butch lesbians are trans men”, and that “some butch lesbians are trans men”, are both true statements, should not be so hard to understand. Yet somehow i guess either none of the butch lesbians are men, or all of the butch lesbians are men is the latest violent debate on my dash.
