Day 46/100 #the100dayproject I’m continuing to play with combining techniques and themes in my current #watercolorsketchbook For this one, I combined the theme of birds with the technique of #transparentlayering and using shapes found in my environment. I’ve been collecting pics on my walks of random shapes created by cracks in the concrete, dry dirt, peeling paint, and tree bark. I knew I wanted to make a bird, so I searched through all the pics (swipe to see where I found each shape) and came up with this #abstractbird I’m not sure I’m done with this one. I’m considering adding some collage pieces or pencil details. If I do, I’ll show it in a later post. I also wish the transparency was a little clearer, but what do you do?
