I like to believe that perpetua doesn't wear the mask because he has some scar over his eye (even though that's really cool) but rather because he thinks without the mask he thinks he looks to fem. (trans perpetua stuff) thinks has too much of a feminine face shape. (on or off T thats up to interpretation. I know T changes your face shape but dysphoria stuff.) That would be why he wears the mask so often and would potentially refuse to take it off. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GET RID OF THE V SHAPE SCAR IDEA THO USE THAT FOR TOP SURGERY SCARS!! :D
I know realistically without the mask he'd just be Tobias forge but like I enjoy thinking about trans perpetua let me cling onto my head cannons guys
