Dear Mom,
STOP SHOWING UP IN MY DREAMS. I AM NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU. I DO NOT NEED TO APOLOGIZE. YOU DO. FUCK OFF.

Dear Mom,
STOP SHOWING UP IN MY DREAMS. I AM NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU. I DO NOT NEED TO APOLOGIZE. YOU DO. FUCK OFF.
Sincerely,
Your SON.
My step dad keeps on telling me that if I was a man, I would act tough like a man. I would “‘man up” and stop talking about my feelings. (My feelings being that I feel disrespected by him refusing to respect my pronouns and talking about how overwhelmed I feel by the constant arguing we’ve been having about this, in addition to unrelated school stuff. He blames my school struggles with my transgender identity though so like…) He’s a bigot, and that’s why he said that, but it does hold a bit of truth to it. He has been on me nonstop about this, and it’s tempting to just stay in the closet to avoid this crap and make my life easier. C But the thing is, I need to “man up”, so to speak. Stand my ground. Because while I don’t deserve to have to fight for my identity, if I don’t I’m going to lose it. And I can’t just go back in the closet just because things are hard now. So I’m going to stand my ground and keep on fighting for who I am, just like that stereotypical “man” my step dad wants me to be. Because I’m not a girl, and I’m willing to fight for that fact.
(This is a vent about MY personal experience with being trans. If you think differently or experienced things differently, that’s fine. I’m not trying to virtue signal or anything, I just… kinda needed to write this for myself, I guess? Idk.)
Ace Ventura was the first movie I had seen a trans character in and I remember asking my mom more about it and she had explained to me that it wasn't the same person cuz "people can't do that" and that Finkle had used dark magic to possess Einhorn to escape the law and that's why he needed the dolphin.
My mom was a fxn idiot but that movie was so much cooler when I thought that was the plot.
My mom thinks that this is the end times because people are changing their bodies and are "confused" (unhappy) with their genders. Like bitch. Your "daughter" is one of those so fuck off.
I fucking hate Christmas
I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas. I fucking hate Christmas.
feels like the only reasons I didn't kill myself last night was 1) then my mom would win and I'd be labeled as a "girl" until the end of time 2) I'm fueled by my hatred
Truth be told I have no idea what's up with my dad. I thought he supported my transition but it's starting to look like he doesn't. He's freaking about me dressing feminine, and yet he pays for and supports my hormones. -shakes head, sighing-
So, my mom (who thinks she’s so liberal) just chewed me out for coming out at a job interview. Apparently I ‘scared’ the woman who was interviewing me. I was polite, I asked very un-accusatorily if it would be a problem, and she didn’t ask me any questions. I don’t know why she didn’t ask me any questions if she was confused. Seriously, I’m a hardly-5-feet-tall, not-passing trans guy who was smiling, being polite, and generally being very accommodating. How am I scary? In any way? Unless niceness is suddenly scary, I’m not. And of course my mom was talking about, “I told you not to come out, you have to play the game.” Yeah, pretend to be a girl, that’s so easy. I swear she’s transphobic without even knowing she is, and I have no idea how to tell her that she’s actually transphobic.
