Curses, Hexes, and Tower?

FANTASY ASKS

Curses- How do you show affection?

Hugs, shoulder and back touches and randomly paying for small things, like a soda or the gas or what have you.  

Hexes- What’s your favorite smell?

I’m torn between autumn smells (like the air or pumpkin spice) and the ocean -probably the ocean. I live in the ocean.

Tower- What is (at least one thing) something that you’re afraid of?

Being unwanted.

3.  What is the effect on you of having people physically nearby, if they’re not interacting with you?

That delegates a lot of brain power to making sure I act Agreeable and Nice :( The job I have now involves interacting with people a HECK ton, and that was intentional, to sort of get more practice existing around others and sort of prove to myself that the whole world isn’t like my family, I’m not implicitly or explicitly expected to automatically defer to everybody.  Right now it’s pretty rough because I’m only a few weeks in and all the old patterns are hungry.  But there’s a lot going on that’s really great and encouraging, too!

6. Do you tend to tell more stories about things that happened to you long ago or recently?

Wehhhh it’s awkward to tell stories.  A lot of experiences don’t necessarily translate so easily to fun fun fun entertaining stories.  Hopefully I’ll pick up some more of those in the future, and I’ve definitely done things to encourage that.

11. When you read a book, does a fixed mental image (from a movie or illustration) improve or hurt your experience of the characters?

I haven’t read a book in a while, I haven’t seen a movie in a while, and I haven’t seen a movie based on a book I really loved in a while, so it’s hard to say!  That being said, I feel like sometimes jokes and interactions come out way more EXTROVERTED!! than I imagine them in the books.  I know a lot of people are extroverted lol, so I can see that they just want to make the movie appeal to the most amount of people \(._. )/  But idk, Max and Furiosa from Mad Max Fury Road were pretty reserved and they were the main characters, it’s not impossible to find characters like that in film.  Maybe if you’re making an original movie it’s easier to be like “I’m shaping this world and this character should be stoic for the story to work” and maybe if you’re adapting a preexisting story you’re less in touch with that kind of thing and you’re like “gotta make everybody maximally likeable” …?  Like I said, I don’t read a ton of books or see a lot of movies \(._. )/ and a lot of the movies I see are the super mainstream ones.  

21. Brainstorm the design of a planet terraformed purely for artistic purposes

Hang on I’ll draw the thing in a bit P:
